What is Danish Siddiqui Journalism Scholarship?
The Danish Siddiqui Foundation proudly announces the launch of the second edition of its esteemed Journalism Scholarship Program 2024. The scholarship empowers talented Master’s-level journalism students by offering financial aid and guidance. Focused on fostering excellence and ethical journalism, this program aims to nurture aspiring journalists, creating a positive societal impact through their work. Three students pursuing a master’s degree in journalism from a reputed Indian university will receive the scholarship. As a part of the scholarship, the students will also need to complete a project on journalism. Last Date of Scholarship is 31st January 2024.
Eligibility of Danish Siddiqui Journalism Scholarship
Preference will be given to applicants from economically weaker sections (income less than Rs. 350,000) who’ve secured admission in journalism degree courses at a government college

Who is eligible for the scholarship?

What is the selection criteria?
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial needs. The decision made by the selection panel will be considered final.
What is the duration of the scholarship award?
The scholarship is for one (1) year with an extension to the second year of study, as appropriate on case to case basis and shall be conditional on the scholar maintaining a satisfactory level of performance as determined by the college. The maximum duration of scholarship award is two (2) years.
When is the deadline for submission of application?
You can send applications for scholarships once you’ve secured admission in the college. The submission deadline is January 31, 2024.
Can I apply to more than one college at the same time?
Yes. You may apply to more than one college simultaneously. However, you should mention this in the application form.
