What is JNCASR Summer Research Fellowship Programme?

This is a flagship programme of the JNCASR, introduced in 1991. Science and engineering students at the bachelors and masters level are placed at institutes of repute all over the country, for two months training in the areas of their interest in the Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering. Selection is based on purely merit. About 150 fellowships are offered each year. The admitted students are given a fellowship of Rs. 10,000/- per month. Since its inception in 1991, 2522 students have benefited from this programme.
