What is SJVN Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship Scheme?
SJVN has introduced “SJVN SILVER JUBILEE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME” for the meritorious students who have passed out plus two Examinations in the year 2023 which aims at inculcating competitive spirit amongst students and to nurture their academic talent. The Scheme is being implemented through HIMCON on behalf of SJVN Foundation. Students will be awarded scholarship of Rs. 2,000/-(Rs. Two Thousands only) per month. Last Date of Scholarship Scheme is 30th November 2023.

Seats Allocation Of SJVN Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship
The allocation of scholarship seats under “SJVN SILVER JUBILEE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME” for the meritorious students who have passed out Plus Two Examinations in the year 2023 is as under:-
HP (All Districts) – 75
Uttrakhand for Distt. Uttrakashi & Chamoli only – 10
Bihar for District Buxar only – 15
State Board – 60
CBSE/ ICSE Board – 40
Total : 100
Amount of SJVN Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship Scheme
Students will be awarded scholarship of Rs. 2,000/-(Rs. Two Thousands only) per month for the whole duration of next higher regular course after class 12th like Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Medical, Arts/ Science/ Commerce/Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Business Administration/ Computer Applications/LLB/MBBS/CA etc.
Eligibility of SJVN Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship Scheme
Eligibility under the Scheme for the Students passed out 12th Class in the year 2023
Name of Sate : Himachal Pradesh
Percentage Eligible : (General-All Categories) Minimum 60%
Eligibility for the Scheme : Students who have passed 12th Exam from any school in any discipline from a school situated in the state of HP under State Education Board, CBSE or ICSE.
Name of Sate : Uttrakhand (Chamoli & Uttrakashi)
Percentage Eligible : (General-All Categories) Minimum 60%
Eligibility for the Scheme : Students who have passed 12th Exam from any school situated in Distt. Uttrakashi and Distt. Chamoli in Uttrakhand
Name of Sate : Bihar (Buxar)
Percentage Eligible : (General-All Categories) Minimum 60%
Eligibility for the Scheme : Students who have passed 12th Exam from any school situated in Distt. Buxar in Bihar
– In the state of Himachal Pradesh, 10% seats will be earmarked for the Project Affected Family (PAF) students and the vacant seats will be transferred to the State.
– In the state of Bihar (Buxar) and Uttrakhand (Chamoli & Uttrakashi), the allocated seats will be open only for the Project Affected District in the following manner:-
** 50% seats for Project Affected Family (PAF) students
** 25% seats for Project Affected Area (PAA) students which will also include PAF students on merit basis.
** 25% seats for Project Affected District (PAD) students which will also include PAF and PAA Students respectively on merit basis.
How to Apply for SJVN Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship Scheme?
a. The application form can be filled and submit online or offline. For online filling/downloading the application form please visit www.himcon.org or www.scholarship.himcon.org
b. Offline application form or Hard Copy of online filled form should be accompanied by two passport size photographs of the student, attested marks sheet of class 12th exam, if applicable Proof of Project Affected Family/Area must reach in the office of

c. Under the category of Project Affected Family/Area only those applications will be considered, who will submit their Undertaking (Annexure-1) duly issued by the concerned SJVN Office in-original to HIMCON Office on & before 30th November 2023
d. Students applying offline must ensure that their application form must reach HIMCON Office on & before 30th November 2023.
e. It is recommended to apply well in time to avoid last minute hassle.
