Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship PSMTS 2023-24 is sponsored by Government of Odisha in School & Mass Education Department. Now inviting Online applications for Scholarship of General, ST, SC, OBC/ SEBC and EBC students for AY 2023-24. Last date for submission of Scholarship is 30th November 2023.

Eligibility of Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing their studies in Class XI and XII in Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to Council of Higher Secondary Education , Odisha.

The following factors will be taken into consideration:
i. Fulfillment of eligibility conditions as per the modalities.
ii. Online authentication/validation of student record by the Principal/Head of concerned Higher Secondary School/Institutions.
iii. Final Merit/Selection list of 1000 students will be drawn in terms of aggregate mark plus the marks secured in Mathematics in HSC Exam provided by BSE (O).
iv. In case of tie, the position of the candidate shall be determined by the mark secured in S.C.P.
v. The scheme is applicable to students reading in Odia medium Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to CHSE(O).
vi. There shall be no income criteria for the award of this scholarship.
viii. A student may enjoy more than one scholarship at a time including PSMTS.

How to Apply for Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship?

To apply for the scholarship, eligible students need to follow the below-given steps
STEP 1 : Click Registration link at the portal, only eligible student (Top-2064 HSC passed out students) can apply for the scholarship.
STEP 2 : Enter the Aadhaar number and proceed further.
STEP 3 : Check your registered mobile or email to get the user ID and password .
STEP 4 : Click log in link at the portal and enter User ID and password to apply the scholarship.
STEP 5 : Provide all necessary details like personal . academic, eligibility and bank information.
STEP 6 : Click on the “Save as draft” button to draft the information or click on ” Next” button to save and proceed the scholarship form
STEP 7 : The preview of the completed form will appear on the page. Download the forms and take its print out.

Required Documents of Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship

List of Documents required for PSMTS
The following legible documents will be uploaded at the time of applying under the scheme.
1. Mark Sheets & Certificate of last qualifying examination i.e. HSC from an institution recognized by SSE Odisha.
ii. Aadhaar Card of the student concerned.
iii. Bank Account details of the student concerned (First page of bank account containing account number and IFSC).
iv. College ID card issued by the concerned authority. While in the absence of the same, the student may provide Admission receipt/Library Card/Letter of Undertaking from concerned college authority (Anyone)
