What is Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarships?

Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarships 2022 is an initiative by the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund for Ph.D. degree students. The scholarship aims to support the study of Ph.D. in India from Indian nationals and nationals of other Asian countries. The selected students will receive a maintenance allowance including a tuition fee of INR 18,000 per month and a contingent expenses of INR 15,000 per annum for study tours within India. The last date of application is 31st May 2022.

Eligibility

The Eligibility of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarships are,

** Be below 35 years of age
** Have a first-class postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate at both graduate and postgraduate levels
** Be already registered/admitted for Ph.D. degree with a recognized University/Institution in India
** Be a full-time Ph.D. scholar

How To Apply For Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarships?

Follow the steps below to apply for the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund scholarship:

Step 1: Completed application form together with all the necessary enclosures should reach Administrative Secretary, Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi-110011 on or before 31 May.

Step 2: The candidates are advised to send their applications as soon as possible. The Fund will not be responsible for any postal delays in reaching the application by the due date.

Step 3: The Selection Committee’s decision to call a candidate for interview or select a candidate for scholarship will be final and no representation in this regard will be entertained.

** A passport size photograph of the applicant
** A synopsis of the proposed project as per the attached format.
** Doctoral Monitoring Committee’s report or Supervisor’s report/recommendations.
** Postal Order/Demand Draft of INR 100
** Ph.D. registration certificate
