What is MSAT (Secondary)?

MSAT (Secondary) is one of the premier management entrance scholarship examinations in the country. It supports the qualified management aspirants to pursue education in IIM’s. It is purely a merit-based examination. It is conducted on national level every year.

Eligibility

Academic Criteria:
Admission in MBA/ PGDM courses are done through both merit lists and entrance exams. Some of the top entrance exams are: CAT, MAT, GMAT. In order to be eligible for Admissions, students need to have completed Graduation with at least 50% marks.

MBA Eligibility :
** Students must have to qualify a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized college.
** Students should not have any receptacle in any subject.
** Moderation to the reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC) students to score 45% marks.

PDGM Eligibility:
** Students must have to qualify a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized college.
** Students should not have any receptacle in any subject.
** Moderation to the reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC) students to score 45% marks.

Age Limit Criteria:
** Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st Oct. 1996 are eligible to apply for MSAT (Secondary) – 2022.
** However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST, and PH candidates who are born on or after October 01, 1991, are also eligible.
** The date of birth as recorded in the primary Education Board/University certificate shall only be considered valid.

Applicants have to upload their scanned copy of a recent color photograph.

Step 3. Payment of Examination Fees and Submission of Application:
The students must fill up their application forms, pay fees and submit them online. Applicants have to pay their examination fee as mentioned in the table below online through debit card/credit card or net banking.

Step 4. Submission of application:
Applicants have to submit their duly filled application online by clicking the submit button.

Selection will be made through Online Examination

Online Examination:
** There will be 200 questions in your test
** You can only enter the test 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, however the “Start test” button will be enabled at the scheduled start time, and you must click the same to start the test
** You may see “Elapsed Time” which indicates that the test time has already been started
** Please read each question twice before answering.
** The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there will be multiple choice questions with four options having single correct answer
** Each correct answer carries four marks
** For each incorrect response, one forth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted.
** No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for an item in the test.
