The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India invites applications for Opportunity Cost to Parents of SC Girl Students – Puducherry 2020-21 from SC category girl students of Class 6 to 10.

The scholarship is applicable for candidates who are domiciles of Puducherry. The scholarship aims to improve the participation of SC children in Classes 6 and 10 so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-
** Be a girl student
** Belong to Scheduled Caste
** Be a domicile of Puducherry
** Be studying in Class 6 and 10 at a recognised institution
** Have an annual family income ceiling of INR 9,000
