Xiaomi India Mi Scholarship

Mi Scholarship programme is an initiative of Xiaomi India to support higher education of meritorious students who belong to underprivileged sections of the society.

Under this scholarship, the students studying in Class 11/12 and undergraduate level will receive financial assistance to continue their studies.

Eligibility

For Class 11 & 12 :
** Open for Indian nationals only.
** Applicants must be studying in Class 11/12.
** They must have obtained at least 70% marks in the Class 10 board exam.

For UG Course Students :
** Open for Indian nationals only.
** Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme like BCom, BBA, BCA, etc.
** They must have obtained at least 70% marks in the Class 12 board exam.

How to Apply?

Eligible students can apply to this scholarship by following the steps below

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website and click on ‘Apply Now’ link.

Step 2 : Login to Buddy4Study using registered login process to access the ‘Application form’. If not registered on Buddy4Study – Sign up at Buddy4Study with Email/Facebook/Gmail account.

Step 3 : Select the option of scholarship programme you wish to apply for and click on ‘continue’ button

Step 4 : Fill the scholarship application form

Step 5 : Upload the required documents with the application
Step 6 : Click on ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process

Documents

For Class 11 & 12 :
** Photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card)
** Passport size photograph
** Income proof (Form 16A/income certificate from government authority/salary slips, etc.)
** Proof of admission (school/college/university ID card/bonafide certificate/etc.)
** Current academic year fee receipt
** Bank account details of the scholarship applicant (cancelled cheque/passbook copy).
** Marksheets or grade card of Class 10

For UG Students :

Benefits

** Class 11 & 12th Students can avail scholarship INR 3,800
** UG Course students can avail scholarship INR 5,800

Selection Process

The selection of scholars for Mi Scholarship will be made on the basis of their academic merit and financial background. It involves a multi-stage process as detailed below –

** Initial shortlisting of applicants based on their academic merit and financial background
** Telephonic interview of shortlisted candidates for final selection
