SEDM Primary Final Scholarship Exam

Primary Final (Scholarship) exam for standard 4 learners, held in the last week of November, based on the combined syllabus of CBSE, lCSE and State Govt. Board.

Eligibility

All learners of Class IV, presently studying in any primary school, affiliated by any Board, are eligible to apply.

How To Apply?

Please contact the head teacher/ principal of your school for enrollment . In case of any difficulty, please call to our student advisory cell or please click on “individual enrollment” tab for online form filling and payment of exam fee.

Exam Details

Subjects and Marks : English(100), Mathematics(100) and Environmental Science(100).
Qualifying Marks : 34% must be obtained to pass the exam, 45% for second division, 60% for first division.

Exam fees : Rupees 75/-(seventy five) including the cost of “Model questions” and study materials on extra topics, wherever applicable.
Medium of Exam : English, Bengali and Hindi.

Date &Time for Exam : Primary Final exam will be held on Third Week of October/ in the middle of November. Timings : 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Important Dates

We have finalized the date of this year’s Olympiad exam. It’s 6 September, 2020 (Sunday). Last date of enrolment : 15 July, 2020. Primary Scholarship Exam on the third week of October.

Syllabus

Specially prepared, based on the combined syllabus of CBSE, ICSE, State Govt Board and NCERT’s guidelines.

Model Questions :
To get an idea about the pattern, marks division and standard of questions, we have published some sample questions in a booklet format, which will be provided free of cost to all examinees after enrolment.

Study Materials :
All examinees will get a portion of study materials, on topics not included in the syllabus of respective board, free of cost, as soon as possible.

Result

To be declared within December, 2020 in our website. Marks Sheets will be supplied to the participating schools, within 2 to 3 days, through our District Offices. Certificates to the qualified candidates and Invitation Cards to the toppers will be dispatched as early as possible.

Prizes & Merit Lists

Merit lists will be published in State, District and Block level. Toppers will get scholarships, medals and prizes in a programme, at any renowned auditorium in Kolkata. Number of Scholarships depend on the total number of candidates appeared.
