VSAT Eligibility

Class 6th to 13th Grade students (studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board) are eligible for the test.
Note : There would be different test papers for each class.

Test Date : 23rd Aug 3:00pm

VSAT Online Registration

Just follow the simple steps to register for VSAT 2020.

Step 1 : Go to the official website of Vedantu through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Click on the ‘Register for Free’ button in the home page.

Step 3 : Fill the Registration Form by entering the following details,
i. Enter the Student Name [Santhosh]
ii. Choose your Grade [Grade 10th]
iii. Choose your Board/Target [CBSE]
iv. Enter your Email Id [myname@gmail.com]
v. Enter the Password [Email Id & password will be used as VSAT login credentials]
vi. Enter your Mobile Number [9876543210]

Step 4 : Finally Click Submit button
Step 5 : It will redirect you to the Login Page. Enter your Email id and Password for Login.
Step 6 : Next fill the remaining details to complete the registration.

VSAT Test Pattern

Category 1 :
Grade 7th (Completed Grade 6th) , Grade 8th (Completed Grade 7th) & Grade 9th (Completed Grade 8th)
** Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) Total 50 questions.
** Total 50 questions

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 2 :
Grade 10th (Completed Grade 9th) & Grade 11th (Completed Grade 10th)
** Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
** Total 50 questions

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 3 :
Grade 12th (Completed Grade 11th) JEE Aspirants
** Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
** Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 4 :
Grade 12th (Completed Grade 11th) NEET Aspirants
** Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
** Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 5 :
JEE Aspirants Completed Grade 12th
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 6 : NEET Aspirants Completed Grade 12th
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).

Category 7 : Dropper JEE

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Category 8 : Dropper NEET
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 240)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Note : There would be different tests for each grade & target exam aspirants.

Scholarship Details

Scholarships would be awarded on the basis of VSAT rank. VSAT ranks would be generated for each grade and target separately.

Categories :
Class 6th, Class 7th, Class 8th, Class 9th, Class 10th, JEE Class 11th, NEET Class 11th, JEE Class 12th, NEET Class 12th, Droppers JEE, Droppers NEET.

Scholarship Details :
** Rank 1: 100% Fee Waiver
** Rank 2-3: 90% Fee Waiver
** Rank 4-10: 75% Fee Waiver
** Rank 11-20: 50% Fee Waiver
** Rank 21-100: 40% Fee Waiver
** Rank 101-500: 30% Fee Waiver
** Rank 501-1000: 20% Fee Waiver
** Rank > 1000: 15% & Free Mentorship by Academic Mentors
** (Free Mentorship by Vedantu’s Expert Counsellors for all)

Note :
** Scholarships would be awarded on the actual price of the Vedantu course, not on the Offer/ Early Bird/ Discounted price. Also, the scholarship is not applicable to 1-on-1 live teaching or existing course plans.

** For Existing Vedantu Students, NO Scholarship will be applicable on your current courses. Scholarships will be applicable only on new Full Year Courses for JEE, NEET, CBSE & ICSE.

** For students attempting VSAT 2020 again, Once scholarship discount is availed on any course, you can attempt VSAT again but you are NOT eligible for scholarship again.

** MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
** SAT – 25 questions from Maths & Science (Physics & Chemistry) syllabus of class 10

Category 4 : Grade 12th (Completed Grade 11th) NEET Aspirants
** MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
** SAT – 25 questions from Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) syllabus of class 10

Category 5 : JEE Aspirants completed Grade 12th
** 10 questions each on Physics, Chemistry & Maths from class 11th syllabus

Category 6 : NEET Aspirants completed Grade 12th
** 15 questions each on the Physics & Chemistry, and 30 questions on Biology from class 11th syllabus

Category 7 : Droppers JEE
** 10 questions each on Physics, Chemistry & Maths from class 11th & 12th syllabus

Category 8 : Droppers NEET
** 15 questions each on the Physics & Chemistry, and 30 questions on Biology from class 11th & 12th syllabus

VSAT Result

VSAT 2020 Result will be shared by 24th August 2020 , 9:00pm IST on your registered Email ID and phone number.

FAQs

1. Will I get a reward for attending VSAT?
YES, Of Course, every VSAT attendee will get a 90% Discount Coupon on any Micro-Course. This coupon can be applied to any Vedantu Micro-Course of your choice

2. Will I be getting the scholarship on top of the offer or discounted price of the course?
NO. Scholarships would be awarded on the actual price of the course, not on the Offer/ Early Bird/ Discounted price.

3. If I get a scholarship, can I use it for 1-on-1 live teaching that happens on Vedantu
NO. Scholarships are strictly designed keeping Vedantu group courses in mind. 1-on-1 live teaching doesn’t fall under this.

4. Can I attempt the VSAT again? Will I be eligible for Scholarship again?
Once scholarship discount is availed on any course, you can attempt VSAT again but you are NOT eligible for scholarship again.
