Scholarship Scheme for Students :

In order to widen and spread the reach of Quality Education in the field of technical / professional courses, scholarship to eligible and needy students is being provided by BHEL as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the eligible students studying in recognized institutes located in the district of Bhopal and its adjoining districts (viz. Raisen, Vidisha, Sehore, Guna and Rajgarh) for the following courses:

1) Scholarship Scheme for students of B.E./ B.Tech, MBBS & LL.B.: Rs. 24,000/- per annum.
Eligibility :
1. New students in 1st year of full time of B.E. / B.Tech, MBBS and LL.B., courses from a recognized institute in academic year 2015-16.
2. Total Annual Income of the family less than Rs. Three Lakh only and applicant should be domicile of Madhya Pradesh.

2) Scholarship Scheme for Physically Challenged Students of ITI (Electrician, Machinist, Welder, Fitter and Draftsman trade) and Polytechnic (Diploma Engineering courses): Rs. 20,000/- per annum
Eligibility :
1. New students in 1st year of full time ITI / Polytechnic from a recognized institute in academic year 2015-16.
2. Total Annual Income of the family less than Rs. Three Lakh only and applicant should be domicile of Madhya Pradesh.

Note:
Selection of candidates for scholarships will be based on merit list prepared on pre-defined criteria.
