K.K.KSRA Scholarship programme:
The K.K.Kapoor Sangeet Research Academy ( a regd Charitable Trust ) invites applications for scholarships of Rs 3000.00 per month for three years to boys / girls who wish to get advanced training in Hindustani Classical Music (vocal) at the Academy under Guru-Shishya parampara.
Terms and conditions:
1. The candidates must be in the age group of 16 to 25 years;
2. The selection will be on the basis of an audition by the selection committee;
3. The candidates must have already learnt the basics of Hindustani Classical Music under the Guru Shishya parampara for a minimum period of three years;
4. The scholarship will be given to the student on the basis of his/her progress every after six months and the decision of the Academy in this regard will be final;
5. The candidate will bring his/her biodata at the time of audition along with the certificate from the Guru under whom he/she had training in the basics of Hindustani Classical Music (vocal) and his/her proof of age
6. The student shall have to be regular and will have to be present in the Academy during its working hours;
7. The student shall be liable to be suspended if he/she absents himself/ herself for a long period or is found involved in any act of misdemeanor, at the sole discretion of the Academy;
8. The candidate shall have to execute a bond for a period of three years and if for any reason he/she leaves before the completion of the term he/she will have to refund the entire amount already received by him/her.
9. May. The auditions will be held in the first week of June at the Academy.
