VSAT Eligibility

Class 6th to 13th Grade students (studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board) are eligible for the test.

Note : There would be different test papers for each class.

** Test Type – Online Objective Test
** Grades – 6th-13th
** Test Date – Sun 26 April 3pm IST

How to Apply VSAT?

Just follow the simple steps to register for VSAT 2020.

Step 1 : Go to the official website of Vedantu through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Click on the ‘Register for Free’ button in the home page.

Step 3 : Fill the Registration Form by entering the following details,
i. Enter the Student Name [Santhosh]
ii. Choose your Grade [Grade 10th]
iii. Choose your Board/Target [CBSE]
iv. Enter your Email Id [myname@gmail.com]
v. Enter the Password [Email Id & password will be used as VSAT login credentials]
vi. Enter your Mobile Number [9876543210]

Step 4 : Finally Click Submit button
Step 5 : It will redirect you to the Login Page. Enter your Email id and Password for Login.
Step 6 : Next fill the remaining details to complete the registration.

VSAT Test Pattern

Class 6th, 7th & 8th :
** Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) Total 50 questions.
** Total 50 questions
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 9th & 10th :
** Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
** Total 50 questions
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 11th JEE Aspirants :
** Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
** Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 11th NEET Aspirants :
** Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
** Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 12th JEE Aspirants :
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 12th NEET Aspirants :
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 240)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Dropper JEE :
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Dropper NEET :
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).

** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 240)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Scholarship Details

Scholarships would be awarded on the basis of VSAT rank. VSAT ranks would be generated for each grade and target separately.

Categories : Class 6th, Class 7th, Class 8th, Class 9th, Class 10th, JEE Class 11th, NEET Class 11th, JEE Class 12th, NEET Class 12th, Droppers JEE, Droppers NEET.

Scholarship Details:
** Rank 1: 100% Fee Waiver
** Rank 2-3: 90% Fee Waiver
** Rank 4-10: 75% Fee Waiver
** Rank 11-20: 50% Fee Waiver
** Rank 21-100: 40% Fee Waiver
** Rank 101-500: 30% Fee Waiver
** Rank 501-1000: 20% Fee Waiver
** Rank > 1000: 15% & Free Mentorship by Academic Mentors
** (Free Mentorship by Vedantu’s Expert Counsellors for all)

Note :
Scholarships would be awarded on the actual price of the Vedantu course, not on the Offer/ Early Bird/ Discounted price. Also, the scholarship is not applicable to 1-on-1 live teaching or existing course plans.

For Existing Vedantu Students, NO Scholarship will be applicable on your current courses. Scholarships will be applicable only on new Full Year Courses for JEE, NEET, CBSE & ICSE.

For students attempting VSAT 2020 again, Once scholarship discount is availed on any course, you can attempt VSAT again but you are NOT eligible for scholarship again.

FAQs

1. When will be VSAT results announced?
VSAT 2020 ResuIt will be shared by 4th May 2020, 9PM IST on your registered Email ID and phone number.

2. Will I get a reward for attending VSAT?
YES, Of Course, every VSAT attendee will get a 90% Discount Coupon on any Micro-Course. This coupon can be applied to any Vedantu Micro-Course of your choice

3. What if I forget my password for VSAT Website Login?
On VSAT Website (vsat.vedantu.com ), click on the Login button. Now click on ‘Generate New Password?’ to get a password reset link on your registered email id. Through this link, you will be able to reset your password

4. By mistake, I filled wrong information while registering for VSAT. How can I edit my Profile Information?
You can edit your profile information by logging into VSAT Website with VSAT Login Credentials. After logging in, click on Edit Profile Information button on your home page. Or click on the down button alongside your name on the top right corner to get Edit Profile option.

Note : you can’t edit your email id. If you want to change your email id, you will have to register afresh with new email id.
