Online applications are invited under the Two Scholarship Schemes mentioned below
(1) 4000 scholarships under the Pragati Scheme for Girls
(2) 1000 scholarships under the Saksham Scheme for the Differently abled Students .

The students admitted in 1st year during the academic year 2015-16 through centralized admission process in AICTE approved Technical Institutions for approved Diploma/Degree level programmes are eligible to apply for scholarship.
Note :
(1) The last date for uploading / online receipt of applications is 23rd November, 2015 up to 5:00 P.M.
(2) Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected summarily.
(3) Applications received offline will not be entertained.
(4) Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/ applicant.

Instructions for Filling Online Application :
Candidates admitted in AICTE approved institutions for first year Degree/Diploma in the academic year 2015-16, are eligible to apply for Pragati/Saksham Scholarship as per the provisions of the schemes. Details on eligibility criteria and other relevant information about the schemes will be available at aicte-india.org/pragathisakshamscheme.php.
How to fill Online Application for Pragati/Saksham Scholarship_2015-16:
1. Navigate to AICTE Portal at aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in to register for the Pragati or Saksham scheme.
2. Click on “Register Here” to create new profile. Enter the details and click on “Register”.
3. Confirmation e-mail link will be sent to the registered e-mail ID. Please click on the link to confirm your registration.
4. Login at aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in with the registered e-mail Id/User name and Password to fill online application form as detailed below:
A. Enter personal details under the Tab “Personal Details”.
B. Enter details of family and income under the Tab “Family & Income Details”
C. Enter the details of the Institute in which Admission is taken for first year Degree or Diploma course along with fee paid details under the Tab “Institute Details”.
D. Enter SSC/10th Standard and HSC/12th Standard details under the Tab “Education Details”.
E. Enter the details of the Savings Bank Account under the Tab “Bank Details”.
F. Attach the following Scanned documents under the Tab “Attachments”:
i. SSC/10th Standard Mark sheet.
ii. HSC/12th Standard Mark sheet.
iii. Annual Family Income Certificate as per Annexure-I (or) as per the State Government format issued by the Competent Authority of the State Government.
iv. Admission letter issued by the Centralized Admission Authority to first year Degree/Diploma courses for the academic year 2015-16.
v. Tuition fee paid receipt for the academic year 2015-16.
vi. Scanned Copy of first page of Bank Pass Book(Only Saving Bank Account in Candidate name) clearly indicating the following:
a. Name of Account holder (candidate) with Photograph
b. Name and Address of the Bank
c. IFSC Code of the Bank
d. Saving Bank Account Number of the account holder (candidate)
vii. Certificate Issued by the Director/Principal/HOD as per Annexure-II
viii. Certificate Issued by Competent Authority in case of candidates applying for Saksham Scheme (Only for Physically Disabled Candidates having more than 40% disability) as per the State Government Format.
ix. Declaration by Parents as per Annexure – III for Pragati Scheme and as per Annexure – IV for Saksham.
x. Aadhaar Card (If Available).
xi. Candidate Photograph.
xii. Candidate Signature.
Note:
1. All the Scanned documents which are to be uploaded along with Online Application should be only in jpg./pdf./png. Formats.
2. File size of all the scanned documents should be less than the size mentioned in the online application under the respective headings

First you type your id and then click on forgot password and then it asks for email id. Now type id that you had typed in 1st year form and then code will come to email id.

This scheme is only for girls and differently abled students. If you are a "normal" (physcially fit) boy, you cannot apply.
