Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the programme, the applicant should be
** Appearing in Class 10th board examination in 2019 from any board
** The resident of Jharkhand or ward of BCCL Employee
** Residing within a 25 km radius of command areas of BCCL
** The applicants with less than INR 6 lakhs will be given preference over other applicants
** Score at least 60% marks in the 10th board examinations
** Free from any chronic disease
Note : Medical fitness test will be conducted by the management at the time of admission.

Step 4 : Get the application signed by the Personnel Officer/AM (Pers.) of Areas/ Representative of HRD, BCCL of the respective area.
Documents Required
The following documents are required to be attached along with the application
** Copy of the registration card of 10th standard board
** Copy of the Admit card of the 10th standard board
** Income certificate (if applicable)
** Copy of Aadhar card
Test Centres
Test centres for conducting the screening test will be as follows
i. DAV Public School, Koyla Nagar Colony, BCCL, Dhanbad.
ii. DAV Public School, Barora Area, BCCL, Dhanbad.
iii. DAV Centenary Public School, Baniahir, Lodna Area, BCCL, Dhanbad.
iv. Loyola School, Nehru Road, Taldanga (Chirkunda), Dhanbad.
v. Nehru Balika Vidyalaya, Sijua.
(Test Centres may change depending upon forms received and the capacity of the centre to conduct the examination)
Selection Criteria
The selection procedure will be divided and processed as follows
** A Screening Test (Multiple Choice Questions based) will be conducted which will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be 3 hours long.
** The applicants will be shortlisted based on merit and performance in the screening test for which a list will be published.

** Publication of result – June 2019 (tentative)

1. I am a HINDI MEDIUM student. Can I apply for this programme?
Yes, this programme aims to include students from all the medium of instruction.
2. Will I get any reimbursement against any expenses incurred to appear in the entrance test of this programme?
No, reimbursement against any expenses incurred to appear in the entrance test of this programme will not be given in any case.
3. I have appeared in my class 10th board examination in 2018 or before. Can I be eligible for this program?
NO, this program is only for the candidates who are appearing in their class 10th board examination in 2019.
4. Can I apply for Group-I through BCCL-ke- LAAL/BCCL- ki- LAADLI programme?
NO, Group-I of this programme exclusively comes under purview of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Ranchi. However, candidates may apply for Group-II open for the all the candidates residing in Jharkhand.
The selection will be as per the criteria of CCL followed by BCCL. The candidates willing to study at the Video Conference (VC) Centres of BCCL can apply for the program.
Syllabus
The syllabus for the Screening Test will include
(i) General Aptitude & Reasoning
(ii) Physics – Motion, Force, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Electric current, Magnetic effects of electric current, Reflection &Refraction of light, Human Eye and its defects, Optical Instruments.
(iii) Chemistry – Mole concept, Structure of Atoms, States of Matter, Chemical reactions, Sources of energy, Carbon compounds, Periodic classification of elements, Acids, bases and salts, Metals and Non-metals.
(iv) Mathematics – Basic Mathematics, Real Numbers, Polynomials, Pair of Linear Equation in Two Variables, Triangles, Trigonometry &Trigonometric, Identities, Statistics, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Circles, Heights and Distances, Probability, Lines, Surface Areas and Volumes.
