CET GEMS Scholarship
Applications are invited for GEMS Scholarship 2018-19 from S2 B.Tech/ B.Arch students of 2018 admission

GEMS is a monetary support provided to 25 most deserving financially weaker students in each year of their study. The scholarship amount per student for one academic year is Rs. 10,000/
GEMS Scholarship Eligibility
** Student should have a real need for financial help. (Annual income certificate to be attached)
** The applicant shall have a rank not less than 10.000 in Common Entrance Examination (Rank certificate attested by the staff advisor shall be produced along with the application)
** The applicant shall not be a recipient of any other scholarship (A certificate to this effect shall all be produced along with the application)
GEMS Scholarship Application
Just follow the below steps to apply for the GEMS Scholarship 2018-19.
Step 1 : The students can submit their applications online for GEMS scholarship through the website of http://www.campusoftonline.com/atten/login.php?type=Student%20Login
Step 2 : Student login with your registered user name and password. Then fill the application form with the required details. The form is to be filled and submitted online
Step 3 : A hard copy of the application, along with attested copies of all the certificates for proof of eligibility, should reach CETAA office on or before 21st January 2019
Step 4 : The hard copy of the application submitted by the students should be verified and attested by the Staff Advisor and finally recommended by the concerned Head of Department.
The Head of Department of all branches of Engineering are requested to inform these details to the financially weak and academically deserving students.

The last date for submitting the online application is 15th January 2019.
About Us :
The College of Engineering, Trivandrum was established in 1939 as the first Engineering College in the then Travancore State. The first classes were started on 3rd July 1939 during the reign of the Travancore King, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma and as the head of the then Travancore state he deserves his share of credit in the establishment of the college.
Initially the College was housed in the former office and bungalow of the Chief Engineer (present PMG Office). Maj T.H. Mathewman, a Britisher was the first Principal. Started as a constituent College of Travancore University, the College had an initial intake of 21 students each for Degree and Diploma courses in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical branches. With the establishment of the Directorate of Technical Education in the late fifties, the College administration came under the control of the Government of Kerala.
