This is also a centrally sponsored scheme, which is implemented by the State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, which receive 100% central assistance from the Government of India for the total expenditure under the scheme, over and above their respective Committed Liability.
Who Can Apply?
Scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belongs to one of the following categories,
(a) Person who are Manual Scavengers as defined under section 2(I) (g) of manual scavengers act 2013.
(b) Tanners & Flyers
(c) waste pickers and
(d) Person engaged in hazardous cleaning as defined in section 2(I) (d) of Manual Scavengers Act 2013.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship to the Children Of Those Engaged In Occupations Involving Cleaning & Prone to Health Hazards for the year 2018-19
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Select State Schemes tab and Click on Assam in the drop down list.
Step 3 : After that Click Apply link in the “Pre-Matric Scholarship to the Children Of Those Engaged In Occupations Involving Cleaning & Prone to Health Hazards” under Assam.
Step 4 : It will redirect to the Login Page. Enter your Application Id, Password and Captcha for Login.
Step 5 : After Login to your account select the Scholarship scheme and fill the required details to apply for the scholarship.
Step 6 : If you are a New User then Click on the Register link in the Login Page.
Step 7 : Enter all required details for registration to get your user id and password. After register your account you can Login and apply the scholarship.

All the information can be edited till the closure of application form. After final submission, your application will be forwarded to the next level and application hereby cannot be edited.

The name and contact details of the Nodal Officer/State Department of all States/UTs are available in “services->Know your State Nodal Officer,, option.
5. How to check the status of my application ?
Student can check the status of Online Application by submitting his/her Permanent id and Date Of Birth and open the link “Check your Status”
