Bharati Scheme For Education 2nd Inter

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Bharati Scheme for Education – 2nd Inter and Others” (BS-EA11) for the poor Brahmin studentsin Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) shall be paid to the selected applicants through the prescribed process, as one time financial assistance.

Objective:

To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue education – 2nd Inter and others with one time financial assistance.

Scope:
This scheme is applicable for poor Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who are studying Inter 2nd year or equivalent or Polytechnic / ITI 2nd or 3rd year in the academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility:

** The student and his/her parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty thousand only).
** Should have passed 1st Year Intermediate or 11th class or 1st year Polytechnic or ITI or any other equivalent course and studying 2nd Year Intermediate or 12th Class or 2nd year Polytechnic or ITI or any other equivalent in the academic year 2015-16 in Andhra Pradesh, OR Should have passed 2nd year Polytechnic or ITI and studying 3rd year Polytechnic or ITI in the academic year 2015-16 in Andhra Pradesh.
** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

Application Procedure:

Notification shall be released for the scheme, on 18 July 2015.

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty, contact 040-2476 7879)

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of min 50 kb to max 150 kb size each) of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** White Ration Card or Income Certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** Marks Sheet of the 1st Year Intermediate or 11th class or 1st year Polytechnic or ITI OR Marks Sheet of the 2nd Year Polytechnic or ITI
** Study certificate from College
** Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant)
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format)

Selection process:

Scrutinising, short-listing and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

One time financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected applicants on or before 15 September 2015.

Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.

State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.
