Post Matric Scholarship :
1) This application form is only for Fresh applicants [ viz –
(a) XI Class, TDC-I year, MA-Previous, I-MBBS and so on ‘OR’
(b) XII Class, TDC-II/III year, MA-Final, II/III/IV-MBBS etc. who did not apply in the previous year(s) ]

2) Students having a study break should furnish an Affidavit / Certificate stating the reason of break in his/her academic studies.
3) To Be Enclosed / Attached With This Application Form :-
(a) An attested photostat copies of Certificates, Mark Sheets, Admit Cards of exam. passed as at Sl.No.4 of Part-A
(b) Income Certificate of father/mother/guardian/husband ending 31st March of the current year in original issued by the competent authorities/executive magistrates. The present income ceiling for entitlement of the scheme as prescribed by the sponsoring Ministry is Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.
(c) Tribe Certificate of the applicant issued by the competent authorities/executive magistrates (attested photostat copy)
(d) Certificate in support of claim as Hosteller, issued by the warden of the hostel as at Sl.No.3 (j) of Part-A
(e) Study Break Certificate, if any ( as stated at Sl.No.2 above )
(f) An attested copy of disability Certificate issued by the competent authority/Medical Officer, for disabled applicant.
(g) Photostat copy of Aadhar Card.
N.B.:-
(i) Enclosed documents will not be returned.
(ii) The awarding authority may demand original documents for verification if required
(iii) The directorate will not be responsible for any loss of application form or documents.
(iv) Attester of documents also required to indicate his/her Aadhar Card No.
4) Direct individual submission of this application form will not be accepted in case of students studying inside the State
5) The last date of receipt in this office is 31st October, 2015. After the last date of submission no form shall be accepted.
6) It will be the responsibility of the concerned institution for not awarding scholarship if forwarded this Form after the prescribed last date of submission.
7) Paymentwill be made electronically by transferring into the respective bank account of the applicant. so each applicant is required to open a bank account in his / her own name and should compulsorily furnish bank account details given in the annexures – i and ii ( prescribed by the govt.) attached herewith this form.
8) The decision of the awarding authority is final.

We face lots of trouble without scholarship during the past 2016 and even now. Because they don’t distribute in time. Other year it is good. They provide in time. So we we can buy study materials, Uniform etc. Scholarship will be valuable if they provide us in time.
When will we get our scholarship for this year 2017? Can you please provide an exact date?

When will you disperse the post matric scholarship of 2015-2016 session for heritage college?
Dear government of Manipur and director of tribals affair, Please don’t teach us your ugly policy and selfish mind because we the students are the pillars of our state tomorrow. So we may follow your footprints and our society or state become like hell. Some schools and colleges are received their scholarship in the month of June last month but why some schools &colleges are still yet to received. When will you release our money? Please do open your ear and full fill our needs and make your state peace.
What is the eligibility criteria to apply for post matric scholarship?
Its a great shame for the govt to hear so many kinds of complaints, questions etc. Let’s question ourselves why is this happening?
Is it due to the the financial problems of the state?
Is it some higher authorities misused it?
Is it due to the lack of pressure to the govt?
Many questions arises. But why is this happening?
Do the govt needs some agitation or strike? Or does it wants to stay corrupt? Or is it the leaders are too greedy? or anything else. Whatever can be. So in order to avoid so many problems, I think it would be better if the govt releases the scholarship for the students as soon as possible so that we can live peacefully without any comments, criticism or anything. Therefore, I request the govt to kindly put a great effort on it.
It is not so cool that the ministry of tribal and hills affairs has failed to fulfill their promise regarding the disbursement of the ST Scholarship for the year 2015-16. The students were promised by the ministry that they will be receiving their ST scholarship on 27th of September, but most of the students have not received it yet. We are looking forward to receive it before 7th of October. The students in some ST student’s organizations are truly unhappy.
Lets all join hands and go for agitation. Unless we do something they will not release our scholarship.
Dear government of Manipur and Director of Tribal Affairs Manipur, What kind of games is this? We the ST students of Manipur are not really happy with you. When will our scholarship be released to our personal bank account? It is time to receive our only benefit that we ever got in one year. Please do open your ears. Why is it so? Does it need to beinformed our central Government about the very long pending 2015-2016 scholarship?
Why I HAVEN’T still get my scholarship? This is not a fair way. On the other side students are eagerly waiting for their allowance issued by the government and how could the ministers and office holder misuse our little source livelihood. Our parents are struggling a lot with financial problems. We hope to lighter their burden with this few amount and why they don’t take to heed and left us helpless. This should not be done in our society. Life is not easy unless we get our daily bread. We have the right to fight what belongs to us and not I’m going to keep numb unless I get my scholarship.

Its really a shame to delay the students scholarship. Poor students hoping and waiting for their scholarship will have to quit their studies just because of useless politicians. If we want to change our environment than all the corrupt politicians should be kicked.
In our own website i,e. Ministry of TRIBAL AFFAIR. Why cannot we get our scholarship form 2016-17,when other minorities forms are availed that is also from this website. Is it because the staffs are not able to or a game being played?

Lets go for it. Unless we go for agitation, they will not issue our scholarship. Still many students did not get their scholarship. Am I heard that some of the ministers and some student’s leader ate up the money hidden. So lets join hands for this.
Heard that those general students need to apply again online. Seems they will be receiving from central govt. Anyone knows about that?
Why aren’t we still getting our scholarship? This is a serious matter ,by the month of July August we usually pay our installment fee. And there are some families who borrowed money by high interest to pay the installment fee. With respect, the Manipur Government should look the matter on time and do the needful as soon as possible.

To the concern officials,
Its unfortunate that students from various part of the state are struggling because of the delay in distribution of their scholarship. Whatever the reason maybe for this delay, please give some explanation to them. And its already August, their needs for which they depend on this scholarship have to be met. Please, make sure that it is done soon.

What is the reason behind the failing of receiving the 2016 ST student scholarship? During previous years the students usually received its ST scholarship in the month of may or June, but this year the students have been neglected and delay towards receiving its ST scholarship. We the tribal students want to know and demand the exact reason behind the delaying of the scholarship. We the tribal students are mostly from poor background and thus we managed the school or college fees through the scholarship but due to delay, the ST students are facing many difficulties and hardships this year which is causing a great disturbance or distraction towards their studies.
How is it possible that we didn’t even get our scholarship till now,I live in CCPur,most of the students there didn’t get the scholarship.
Why haven’t we receive our scholarship 2015 – 16? If this continues we’ll take serious action.
Why Imphal students got their scholarship and not hill students? Why don’t they sent us our scholarship? Why so much corruption even to students? They must send out scholarship by now. We won’t keep silent. This is really a treat to us. We will never keep silent.
Why we have not received our 2015-16 ST scholarship yet. Whatever may the problem the state is undergoing they should not be delaying the distribution of the scholarship as the ST Students applied for the scholarship to meet their financial expenditure regarding their studies. Further delay can end up with serious protest as after all it is all about students the future of India.
The scholarship we received is not according to central norm. St belong to group1 but when it reach to Manipur you people change it to group2. What is this policy? We need the exact amount as we suppose to get.
And what the check is going on this year? Still some students do not received their scholarship yet while the central has already sent.
If this continue, we will not remain silent. We have students union, students body and many organization.

1) What’s the difference between Imphal students and other district students? After all its a state which make Manipur as a whole.
2) What will be the future of Manipur students?
Most of our parents do not have enough income to pay the installment.
3) What will be the mode of the leaders in return if all the Manipur student union protest against them?
What could be the reason?
Have somebody eaten up the money and afraid to reveal out the truth?
It is time to declare now.
It is the right time to find out what happen and also it is the high time that we should receive our scholarship by this week.
Leaders should find out the history of the issue and give a solution.
I’m not sure but someone told that the scholarship has been misused by some ministers and by some students. Lets all join hands and do something.
I heard the scholarship application for hill students as rejected due to IPL by the government of Manipur. I don’t know whether it is rumors or reality.
