The Government of Odisha in Higher Education Department have been awarding scholarship each year for encouragement to the meritorious students for prosecuting their higher studies in the field of general { +2 (Jr.), +3 (Sr.) & P.G.}

Types Of Scholarship

Who Can Apply?

** The scholarships meant for +2, +3, & P.G. students shall be awarded to boys and girls in 50:50 ratio.
** The income ceiling of parents shall not exceed Rs.6.00 lakh per annum.

** Student already in receipt of any scholarship awarded by the State/Central Government or any other agency can not avail this scholarship

** Students pursuing their higher studies through distance learning correspondence are not eligible for such scholarship.
** The technical / professional scholarship does not cover students pursuing Diploma level courses.

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the eMedhabruti 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Odisha DHE through the URL provided above.

Apply Online : https://dhe.odisha.gov.in/

Step 2 : Then click on the “Online (fresh) Application for the Session 2019-20 for NON-SAMS Students” link in the home page.

Step 3 : Next you have to select the Scholarship Type * – Junior Merit or Senior Merit or Technical/ Professional or P.G. Merit and click on the Next button.

Step 4 : Fill the following details to complete the application form
** Applicant Information,
** Parent / Guardian Information,
** Permanent Address Information,
** Examinations Information
** Bank Information

Step 5 : The students are required to submit the downloaded form along with supporting documents to the Head of the Institution where he / she is continuing higher study.

Step 6 : Outside students shall submit the hard copy of the downloaded application forms duly countersigned by his / her Head of the Institution along with copies of supporting documents to the ‘ Under Secretary (Scholarship), Higher Education Department, Odisha Secretariat, Bhubaneswar – 751001’ by Registered Post within the stipulated time for consideration in the Higher Education Department .

Applicants are allowed to apply scholarship application for only once (Except SAMS Applicants). For any kind of Modification in your applied application, Kindly Contact the Head of the Institution.

** Junior Merit Scholarship for + 2 Students – (10 months in a year @ Rs. 300/-) — Rs.3000/-
** Senior Merit for +3 Students – (10 months in a year @ Rs. 500/-) — Rs.5000/-
