DTU MCM Income Linked Financial Assistance Scheme

Delhi Technological University invites applications for Merit-cum-Means Income Linked Financial Assistance Scheme for the year 2018-19

The objective of the Scheme is to extend financial assistance to the meritorious and needy students pursuing higher education in NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

The student should have been enrolled for under graduate programme in any of the Delhi State Public Universities or colleges/ institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities.

The student should fulfill the income/ economic and academic performance criteria as specified for each category mentioned below

Eligibility (Gross Annual Family Income of Student from all Sources) Qualifying Aggregate Percentage (Marks in All Subjects) Percentage of Financial Assistance
Category 1-Beneficiary under National Food Security Scheme & possess the Card issued under the Scheme 60% 100%
Category 2- Not covered under category 1 but whose family income is upto Rs.2.50 Lakh p.a. 60% 50%
Category 3- Family income above Rs.2.50 Lakh p.a but not exceeding Rs.6 Lakh p.a. 60% 25%

How to Apply?

All the B. Tech. students are advised to apply on website https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/in/en/Home/Index.html and submit a copy of following documents at window no. 01 Academic-UG section.

No application will be forwarded to concerned Department in case student does not apply in required format, does not attach self-attested documents as required under the relevant Category.

Required Documents

** Copy of online generated application
** Caste certificates
** Income certificate issued by Distt. Revenue Authority
** Copy of National Food Security card
** Mark sheets of 12th for the 1st year student only
** First year students have to submit JEE Rank Card.

** Mark sheets of previous semester.
** Cancelled Cheque/Passbook (Account must be in name of student and aadhaar seeded only)
** Copy of Aadhaar Card
** Fee Receipt for current Academic Year
** Format “A” Declaration by the student generated during the application

** Announcement of the scheme (for 03 months/ 90 days) – 01.09.2018
** Last date/closing date for submission of online application form – 31.01.2019

** Last date for verification of application by institute/college / University – 15.12.2018
** Forwarding of list of eligible/approved students with recommendation of Sate University to DHE – 31.12.2018

1. Whether all Universities/Institutions/Colleges located OUT-Side Delhi are covered under this scheme?
No, Only Delhi State Public Universities or colleges/ institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities.

2. Whether all Courses / Programs & all Universities/Institutions/Colleges of Delhi covered under this scheme?
All approved undergraduate programs offered by any of the Delhi State Public Universities or colleges/ institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities.

3. Is a student resident of Delhi, who passed either class 10th or 12th from outside Delhi, Eligible or Not Eligible under this scheme?
Eligible, but the student should have been enrolled for under graduate programme in any of the Delhi State Public Universities or colleges/ institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities.

4. Whom to contact for any problem for the scheme?
Nodal Officer, for the scheme (Nominated in the College/Institute/University). Nominated by the Delhi State Public Universities or colleges/ institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities.
