2018 NMMS application are available in the concerned Block Educational Office (BEO) from 16 Aug 2018 onwards. Applications are NOT AVAILABLE in DSERT website NO ONLINE APPLICATION.

Under this scheme, it is proposed to award 100,000 scholarships to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs.1,50,000/- per annum from all sources.

Who Can Apply?

** Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum are eligible to avail the scholarships.
** The students shall have minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination (Relaxable by 5% for SC/ST)

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of DSERT Karnataka through the URL provided above
Step 2 : Read the instructions carefully before you are applying.
Step 3 : Collect the application form from the concerned Block Educational Office.
Step 4 : Fill the application form with the required details and attach the documents.
Step 5 : Submit the filled in form to the concerning Block Education Office before the last date.

Note :
Make sure that the Admit Card is not detached from the application form. It will be returned to you after the allotment of Roll Number.

It is hereby advised, that Candidate should collect the admit Card from the concerning Block Education office at least one week before the examination.

Exam Pattern

The examination will be conducted in two sessions i.e. Ist session (Paper Ist)- 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, IInd session (Paper IInd)- 01:30 PM to 03:30 PM. on 04 November 2018 (Sunday)

The State Level Examination may consist of the following two tests
(i) Mental Ability Test (MAT)
(ii) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

MAT :
Mental Ability Test may consist of 100 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figures etc.

SAT :
Scholastic Aptitude Test may consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII.

Note : Each question carries 1 (one) mark. There is no negative Marking.

General Instructions

** Report at the Examination Centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination and occupy the seat that bears your Roll Number.

** DO NOT carry Mobile, Calculator, Mathematical & Physical Table or any other kind of ready reckoner in the examination hall.

** Write your Eight (08) digits Roll Number, as given in the Admit Card, on the Answer Sheet and on the cover page of the Question Booklet in the space provided. DO NOT write your name in any part of the Question Booklet or OMR Answer Sheet.

** All questions in the booklet are of objective type. For each question four possible answers are given, but only one is the correct answer. Darken the circle of your choice in the OMR Answer Sheet.

** Follow Instruction for OMR sheet. Use only Blue/Black Ball Point Pen for darkening the correct answer and for filling information.
** If you will darken more than one circle or circle is half darken then your answer will not be considered.

  1. I have passed NMMS in 2018 but scholarship has not been come to my bank account of Karnataka bank.

  2. I have passed NMMS in 2013. I have got scholarship money only for 2 years. I completed 2nd PUC. What should I do now? Please say.
