Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education invites online application for Central Sector Scholarship Fresh & Renewal for the year 2019-20.

Who Can Apply?
(i) Students must be a citizen of India and domicile of Kerala
(ii) Applicant should be pursuing any Regular Course at Under-Graduate Degree level in any recognised Educational Institution, including Professional Courses such as Medical, Engineering etc. Students pursuing Parallel/ Private Registration/ Correspondence/ Distance Education courses are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
(iii) Parental income Both Father and Mother should not exceed Rs 6 lakhs per annum for the financial year ending March 2013
(iv) Applicant should not be availing any other scholarships/ Financial Assistance.
(v) Applicants should not be belonging to the Creamy-layer.

How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Central Sector Scholarship Fresh & Renewal 2019-20.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education through the URL provided above
Step 2 : Then Click on the Central Sector Scholarship under Types of Scholarship.
Step 3 : Next read the instructions carefully and click on the Apply Online link.
Fresh
Step 4 : It will redirect to the National Scholarship Portal. If you have not registered, Please signup for new registration. click on the New Registration link in the Login page
Step 5 : Fill the form with the required details and Finally click on Submit button.
Step 6 : After complete your registration you can Login with your Registration Id, Date of Birth and Password to complete the fresh scholarship application.
Renewal
Step 7 : For Renewal cases, you can Login with your user name and password then fill the application form with the required details to complete the renewal process.
Rate of Scholarship
Under Graduate Students :
Rs.1000/- per month for (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for an academic year) and Rs. 2000/- per month for Post-Graduate studies (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for an academic year), provided they are selected for Scholarship at UG level.
Professional Courses :
Rs.1000/- per month for the first three years (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for an academic year) and Rs. 2000/- per month for the 4th and 5th years of study (Subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for an academic year).
