Tribal Affairs Top Class Scholarship
Ministry of Tribal Affairs invites Online applications for Top Class Education Scholarship for the year 2018-19.

The objective of the scholarship is intended to encourage meritorious ST students to pursue courses at Graduate/Post Graduate level in identified Institutions of excellence, Government and Private, in professional fields such as Management, Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Law etc.
Who Can Apply?
** ST students who have secured admission in the notified Institutions according to the norms prescribed by the respective Institutions will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.
** The student will be eligible to join only the list of Institution identified by Ministry.
** The total family income of the candidate to be eligible for this scholarship from all sources should not exceed Rs.6.0 lakh per annum.
** The scholarship shall be payable once the student has secured admission and started attending the classes.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Top Class Education Scholarship.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Ministry of Tribal Affairs provided above.
Step 2 : Then select Scholarship/Fellowship link in the menu bar and Click Top Class Scholarship link in the drop down list
Step 3 : Next click ‘Apply Scholarship for the year 2018-19’ link. It will redirect to the National Scholarship Portal.
Step 4 : In NSP portal, Already registered user enter your Application Id, Password and Captcha for Login.
Step 5 : After Login to your account select the Scholarship scheme and fill the required details to apply for the scholarship.
Step 6 : If you are a New User then Click on the Register link in the Login Page.
Step 7 : Enter all required details for registration to get your user id and password. Then fill the form to complete the application.
Selection Process
1. Candidates after taking admission for the various courses in the notified Universities/Institutes will submit the application online for scholarships.
2. The provided in the application form will be verified by the respective Institute.
3. Institute will verify authentication of the following certificate
** Scheduled Tribe, Certificate issued by the competent authority.
** Certificate to the effect that the total family income from all sources shall not exceed Rs 6.0 lakh per annum in the case of Scholarships

** Every year, the Institute will verify & forward Annual Income Certificate in case of Scholarship scheme. For first year the income certificate should have been issued by competent Authority. From second year onwards students can submit self certified income certificate.
** Amount of full Annual tuition fee and other nonrefundable dues payable by the candidate to the Institute in the case of Scholarships.
** PVTG, BPL certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable).
4. Merit list of the eligible candidates for the award of Scholarship based on the data available online will be auto generated and displayed on the portal.
