Vidyasaarathi MPCL Scholarship Scheme

Who Can Apply?

Nursing :
** Students studying full time 4 year course in Nursing from any recognized institute located in India.
** Qualification criteria – Minimum 50% in HSC,
** Course Name – B.Sc.(Nursing)-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

** Students pursuing any ITI course like Electrician, Turner, Fitter etc. i.e.(10th+1, 10th+2). Institute should be affiliated by National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET).

** Qualification criteria – Minimum 35% in SSC,
** Course Name – Any

B.Ed :
** Students studying full time 2 year course in B.Ed from any institute located in India, Institute should be have valid NAAC Accreditation and NCTE Approval.

** Qualification criteria – Minimum 50% in Graduation,
** Course Name – B.Ed.-Bachelor of Education (BEd)

Note :
** Preference would be given to students from the state of Himachal Pradesh.
** This scheme is not applicable to MPCL employees and their children.

Important Dates

** Starting date to apply for the scholarship is 01/08/2018
** Last date to complete the application form is 30/11/2018

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the MPCL Scholarship Scheme 2018.

1. Sign Up : Register in Vidyasaarathi Portal
2. Complete Profile : Complete the profile information with all necessary details
3. Search & Apply : Search for relevant schemes in which you are eligible and apply for scholarship

Sign Up

1. Visit the Vidyasaarathi official website through the URL

2. Then Click the Sign Up link in the right top corner of the home page.

3. Fill the below details to complete your Registration,
Step 1 : Select your Title [Mr/Miss/Mrs]
Step 2 : Enter Your First Name [Ram]
Step 3 : Enter Your Last Name [Kumar]
Step 4 : Enter Your Mobile Number [9876543210]
Step 5 : Enter Your Email Id []

Step 6 : Enter Your Password
Step 7 : Retype Your Password
Step 8 : Enter the Captcha code
Step 9 : Accept the Terms & Conditions and Click Submit button

** Once student click on ‘Submit’* button, system will send account activation link on registered Email ID.
** Students have to click on the link to validate the E-mail ID within 24 hours of successful registration.

** Then student can use the activated Login ID and password to enter into the Vidyasaarathi portal. (Fields marked with (*) asterisk sign are mandatory fields for registration in Vidyasaarathi portal).

Search & Apply

Search for relevant ‘MPCL Scholarship Scheme’ schemes in which you are eligible and apply for scholarship.

Documents Required

1. Domicile Certificate
2. Proof of Identity
3. Student Active Bank Passbook
4. Admission Confirmation letter

5. 10th and 12th or Diploma Mark sheet 1st year passing mark sheet (for 2nd year students) 2nd year passing mark sheet (for 3rd year students) 3rd year passing mark sheet (for 4th year students)

6. Bonafide Certificate
7. College Fees Receipts
8. Latest Income Certificate
9. Optional document PAN No/Voter id card/Passport All documents uploaded shall be clear and must be in .jpeg or .png file only

Scholarship Amount

** Nursing Students can receive financial aid upto 30000/- maximum.
** ITI Students can receive financial aid upto 20000/- maximum.
** B.Ed Students can receive financial aid upto 30000/- maximum.


1. Can I edit the information already saved and up-to what time?
All the information can be edited till the closure of application form. After final submission, your application will be forwarded to the next level and application hereby cannot be edited.

2. What if I forget password of my Login ID?
You can click on “Forgot password” option provided on the Login page of Vidyasaarathi Portal and you will be asked to provide your registered e-mail address. Vidyasaarathi Portal will send a system generated password on your registered email address.

3. I have not received the activation link on my registered email address?
Please check your Spam Mail / Junk folder, the mail sometimes fall in this section of your mailbox. If the mail is not found there, you can contact us on grievance [AT] or call our customer care number 022-40904484.

4. What will be the Maximum Scholarship Reward available?
The maximum amount of scholarship that can be rewarded, will be less than or equal to the educational course fees as stated in the admission certificate or fee receipt. Also the Scholarship amount is subject to differ from scheme to scheme, Institute to Institute and from course to course.

5. What is Scholarship Reimbursement?
Instances where the student has already paid the educational fees for the current academic year, in those cases the amount of scholarship will be disbursed to the student bank account against the paid fee receipt duly acknowledged by the educational institution.

  1. I have submitted my documents but not received the scholarship. Why?

  2. I am a B.Ed student studying in Karnataka B.Ed college. I applied for this scholarship but not received any amount. Please send the amount soon.

While applying for scholarship, it asks bonafide certificate but when I try to upload the certificate it says document should be less than 5 MB whereas the document is only 200 KB.     1. If that says documents should be 5mb means overall documents size of which all documents should be with in 5mb.
