Online applications are invited from Students With Disabilities for Pre Matric Scholarship for the academic year 2019-20.

The objectives of the schemes are to provide financial assistance to the parents of students with disabilities for studying in the pre-matric level. The financial assistance includes scholarship, book grant, escort/reader allowance, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

** A citizen of India
** A person with disability having not less than 40% disability and having a disability issued by any competent medical authority.

** Not more than two disabled children of the same parents will be entitled to receive benefits of the scheme. Provided in case the second child is a twin, the scholarship under this scheme will be admissible to both the twins.

** Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year.
** A scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other scholarship/stipend.

** She/he should be a regular, full time student studying in class IX or X in a Government school or in a school recognized by Govt. or by a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.

** Scholarship will be paid to the students whose parents/ guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakh only) per annum.

How to Apply?

The scheme is implemented through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Just follow the below steps to apply for the Pre Matric Scholarship For Students With Disabilities 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Select Central Schemes tab and Click on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities link in the drop down list.

Step 3 : After that Click Apply link in the Pre Matric Scholarship For Students With Disabilities

Step 4 : It will redirect to the Login Page. Enter your Application Id, Password and Captcha for Login.

Step 5 : After Login to your account select the Scholarship scheme and fill the required details to apply for the scholarship.
Step 6 : If you are a New User then Click on the Register link in the Login Page.

Step 7 : Enter all required details for registration to get your user id and password.

Step 8 : After complete your application you will get a confirmation message to your registered email id & mobile number.

Value of Scholarship

The value of Pre-matric scholarship includes the following for complete duration of the course
(i) Scholarship and other grant;

Merit Criteria for Selection

The following factors will be taken into consideration
(i) Fulfillment of eligibility conditions as given in the scheme.
(ii) Recommendation of the State Education Department.
(iii) No. of slots available to the State.
(iv) Merit of the candidate in terms of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

  1. I am the in charge of the school and we have forgotten the password of institute login. At forgot password option we didn’t get any OTP. So, please tell us the solution so we can approve the students form of scholarships. ID is 03030500201
