Maulana Azad Education Foundation Inviting Applications of Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship for the year 2019-20.

Objective
To recognize, promote and assist meritorious Girl students belonging to National Minorities who can not continue their education without financial support.
Who Can Apply?
** Only girl students belonging to six notified Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.
** Annual income of students parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.
** Scholarship will be awarded to minorities girl students who are studying in Class 9th to 12th, and have secured at-least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class.
** Students have to submit the Income certificate of parents/guardian that should be issued by the Competent Authority declared by the State Government/UTs Administration.
How to Apply?
It is mandatory for all students to apply online on the Portal, fill the form and take print out of the same and send to MAEF office, with all the essential documents within stipulated time period.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Portal through the URL [http://bhmnsmaef.org/maefwebsite/]
Step 2 : Then click on the Registration link in the home page and select ‘Apply for Fresh Scholarship’ link in the drop down list.
Step 3 : Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Continue’ button.
Step 4 : Next enter the Registration Details, Address details, Bank and Occupation details and Present School Details
Step 5 : After complete the application form, Applicants advised to download school verification form and upload the scanned copy of the same, dully verified by the head of the institution along with other documents.
Note :
If you are not having Aadhaar Number still you can register on the portal with your Bank A/c Number with IFSC Code as Identifier.

Step 2 : Select your Scholarship Category* [IXth/Xth/XIth/XIIth]
Step 3 : Enter your DOB in the format of DD/MM/YYYY
Step 4 : Select your Identification Details* [Registration No/Aadhaar No/Bank A/c No]
Step 5 : Enter the Identification Number as per your selection
Step 6 : Enter the Captcha Code
Step 7 : Click View Application Status button

Amount Of Scholarship
Actual amount of scholarship will be provided for admission & course /tuition fee and maintenance allowance as given below subject to a maximum ceiling indicated against item concerned

Selection Procedure
** The selection procedure will be based on the criteria of parent’s/guardian’s annual income.

** The selection of the eligible students will be primarily done on the basis of the lower income criteria among the students who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous exam, however there is fixed no. of scholarship quota for each State/UTs based upon the population of the minorities in the concentrated area.
Cancellation Of Scholarship
** Scholarship shall be deemed discontinued with any gap of academic session in studies at any time due to any reason; the awarded scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.
** No claim for fresh/renewal of scholarship will be entertained from those applicants who have failed to submit their application in the prescribed time limit.
** If student is found to have obtained scholarship by false statement/certificates, scholarship will be cancelled/suspended and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government/UTs Administration.
Last Date
** Last date for Online Registration of applications has been extended upto 15th October,2019.
** Last date for Finally Submission of applications with required documents has been extended upto 31st October,2019.
