Scholarships:
I.T.S Group has always been encouraging, promoting and creating avenues for a healthy competitive environment among students to excel in their academics. To recognize and appreciate the efforts of the students, institute offers scholarships to the meritorious students of all the courses. Selected schemes are also offered to aspiring students seeking admission to various courses at the institutes.
Scholarships And Awards For Bca/Bba @ I.T.S- Ug Campus, Ghaziabad:
To encourage academic performance and to reward excellence in academics, I.T.S has installed a system of awarding scholarships to deserving and meritorious students. Categories include-
Scholarships :
Awarded at the time of admission and is applicable for I yr students of BBA and BCA, based on their XII standard performance.
Scholarship categories include:
I -Topper’s Scholarship:
** 85% and above – First five students in BBA and BCA each – No tuition fees for all the three years.
** 80% – 84% – First five students in BBA and BCA each – 50% discount in tuition fees of year I only.
II – Merit Scholarship:
In BBA the first 20 students shall be awarded at the time of admission, as per following details:
** 75% and above – 10 students – Rs 20,000/- discount in academic fees of Year I only.
** 70% – 74% – 10 students – Rs. 10,000/- discount in academic fees of Year I only.
Likewise in BCA also, the first twenty students shall be awarded at the time of admission as per following details:
** 70% and above – 10 students – Rs. 20,000/- discount in academic fees of Year I only.
** 65% – 69% – 10 students – Rs. 10,000/- discount in academic fees of Year I only.
(Note: Marks of Physical Education and other additional subjects are not included while considering eligibility for scholarships.)
Merit Awards :
For II and III year students based on their performance in I and II year university examinations respectively. It is awarded to top 10% meritorious students of each batch at the end of each year. Details are:
** The first one third of students get a cash prize of Rs. 7,500/-
** The second one third of students gets a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-
** The third one third of students gets a cash prize of Rs. 2,500/-
Performance Improvement Award :
It is awarded to the students who have shown maximum improvement from the first semester exams to the second semester exams of I and II year exams respectively. It is awarded to top 10 students of each section who show maximum improvement in terms of increase in percentage.
All Rounder Award:
It is awarded on the basis of students’ performance in certain areas like academics, behavior (inside & outside class), participation in Extra – curricular activities and additional responsibility in the campus. This award is given every year to one student each in BBA and BCA (II and III year) course respectively.
Chairman’s Top ten award :
The Chairman’s Award for all round accomplishment shall be given each year to ten extraordinary undergraduate and post graduate students (i.e. top two per course). The deserving students shall be adjudged on the basis of their performance in academics and extracurricular activities.
The award also takes into consideration the outstanding contribution of student in the form of accolades received by him in internal and external events like sports, cultural events and their participation in CSR related activities.
