** Indian Educational Services (IES) owns copyright of Common Entrance & Scholarship Test (CEST).

** The total number of awardees in the test is subject to the number of students applying CEST.
** Total scholarship amount will be distributed as per the rank of the test.
** Scholarship is solely based on the test results.

Q1. What is the eligibility criteria for CEST 2017?
** A. Students who have completed or are pursuing Class 12th are eligible to apply for CEST 2017.

Q2. What is the application process?
** A. The student has to pay an application fee of INR 100/- and register. Then he/she has to fill an application that includes personal details, academic details, introductory questions, documents and final declaration and form submission.

Q3. How many candidates will get the scholarship?
** A. Each and every student who appears for this test will get guaranteed scholarship depending upon their rank.

Q4. What is the process of selection?
** A. Selection is based solely on test results.

Q5. What are the important dates?
** A. The application starts from 20th Nov 2017
** Students can give their offline Test on 02nd-03rd Dec’17 (Tirupati) / 09th-10th Dec’17 (Anantapur) / 16th-17th Dec’17 (Vijayawada) / 06th-07th Jan’18 (Bengaluru)
** Results will be announced on 15th Jan’18

Q6. What are the documents required for applying CEST Scholarship?
** A. The applicants are advised to carry the following required documents:
** (a) Class 10th Markscard
** (b) Class 12th Markscard (if applicable)
** (c) Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, Voters Id, Driving License etc)
** (d) Passport Size Photograph

Q7. When and where will I find out if I have been awarded a scholarship?
** A. Results can be viewed on .cest.org.in by 5:00 PM on 15th Jan 2018.

Q8. What kind of questions will be there in CEST?
** A. The exam consists of 4 Sections
** (a) Verbal Ability
** (b) General Knowledge
** (c) Logical Reasoning
** (d) Mathematical Ability / Biology (Either of them)
** Each section will be of 15 marks.
** Duration of the test is 60 minutes and there won’t be any negative marking.
