Scholarships:
With the objective of encouraging meritorious students and academic excellence, the following six categories of scholarships are offered to deserving Under- Graduate students. The quantum and number of scholarships will be published on the website every year.

1. TMA PAI Engineering Scholarships:
These are merit-cum-means scholarships with a cap of two scholarships in each stream, restricted to the top 3000 ranks in the MU Engineering Entrance Examination.

Parents’ annual income-Scholarship on annual programme fee:
Upto Rs.5 lakhs-100%
Between Rs.5 lakhs and Rs.7.5 lakhs-75%
Between Rs.7.5 lakhs and Rs.10 lakhs-50%
Between Rs.10 lakhs and Rs.12.5 lakhs -25%
Above Rs.12.5 lakhs-10%

Number of Scholarships shall be displayed at the time of common counseling. Students applying for these scholarships are required to submit copies of their parents’ (both mother and father) Form 16/16A/ITR of the last two years.

To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above every academic year, failing which the scholarship for the next years would be withdrawn.

2. TMA Pai Excellence Scholarships for Non-Engineering students:
One Scholarship in each programme, with 100% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 90%, in the qualifying exam.

One scholarship in each programme, with 50% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80%, in the qualifying exam.

To continue to get the scholarships, the student should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, failing which the scholarship for the next year will be withdrawn.

3. Merit Scholarships for Non-Engineering students:
Three scholarships in each programme, of 25% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to students with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 75%, in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam.

To continue to get the scholarship the students should maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above, failing which the scholarship for the next years will be withdrawn.

4. Rajasthan Merit Scholarships:
A total 30 scholarships of upto Rs. 1,00,000 each ( not exceeding two in each programme) will be given to students from Rajasthan domicile, with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80% in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam. To be eligible, the student should have passed his/her 10th and 10+2 exam from a school in Rajasthan.

The maximum scholarship given to each student would be capped to the first year fees of the programme joined, or Rs. 1 Lakh, whichever is lower.

To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above, failing which the scholarship for the next year will be withdrawn.

5. Merit cum Means Scholarship for TAPMI School of Business Students-MBA Programme:
20 scholarships are available for meritorious students with the following eligibility:
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in all exams (10th, 12th and Graduation)

Student should be among the top 20% of the admitted MBA batch for that academic year

Annual Income of both parents put together should be less than 7.5 Lacs.

The number and extent of scholarships are as follows:

6. Scholarships/seat reservation for Local region students:
For the benefit of students from nearby villages of Dehmi Kalan, Thikaria and Sanjharia and to promote education amongst them, the following scheme/policy is available:

Reservation of Seats:
Two seats each, with 50% annual programme fee-waiver on the basis of merit, are reserved in the following programmes:
BA/BA (Hons)
BSC/BSc (Hons)
B Com
BCA
BBA
BA (J&MC)
BHM
B Des (Jewellery Design)
B Plan
B Sc
(Interior Design)
B Des
(Fashion Design)
BA, LL.B (Hons)
BFA – Applied Arts

Scholarships:
Rs 500/- per month will be given to two students, other than those mentioned in 6.1 above, from each of the above mentioned programmes, who have 75% and above aggregate marks. The scholarship would be continued in later years provided they maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 every year.

7. Teaching Assistantships:
Teaching assistantship of Rs. 12,000/- per month will be available to full time Ph.D. scholars, for three years, along with a Contingency amount of Rs. 10,000 every year.

A few selected M. Tech Final year students may be awarded teaching assistantship of Rs.5000/- per month, based on departmental needs.

Note:
Please note the following in the context of all the above scholarships:
** A student cannot hold more than one scholarship concurrently from any of the sources or supporting agency.
** Scholarships will be given only for the actual/minimum duration of the programme in which the student is enrolled.
** Applications for scholarships will be invited from eligible students by 30th September every year.
** Grant of scholarships will cease in case any indiscipline case/matter is reported against the students.
** In case of any dispute, the decision of the president MUJ would be final and binding.
