PhD Fellowship For Backward Classes :
** In the first row – full time Ph.D. RG invites monthly scholarship / fellowship and fee exemption to candidates belonging to Backward Classes who are engaged in the study.

** The Department of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of Karnataka invites applications for Research Guidance Ph.D. Fellowship for Backward Classes, Karnataka 2017-18 from students who are willing to pursue full-time Ph.D. program in the field of seminars, language, sociology, science and technology, agriculture and related sciences, commerce and management, technical and medical sciences.
I. Instructions for students who apply online :
** Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Minority Students are not allowed to avail this facility from the Backward Classes Welfare Department
** Student Backward Classes will be given monthly Rs.5,000 / – for the full time PhD study in the field of seminars, language, sociology, science and technology, agriculture and related sciences, commerce and management, technical and medical sciences. Students will be charged exemption.**
2. Restricted Qualifications :
** The citizen of India should be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
** That’s The Government of Karnataka should be listed on the backward list of Scheduled Castes.
** Full time (Full Time) PhD study should be engaged in statutory universities / subordinate institutions in Karnataka.
** The student who wants to avail the facility will be required to receive a monthly scholarship / fellowship from the Government of India / Government / University or other institutions Should not be the choice.
Educational Qualifications :
** Must have at least 55% of the postgraduate degree.
** Must be registered for Ph.D program under Research Guidance at University / Official Institutions.
Age limit :
** The maximum age of the candidate is 35 years.
Student and Family Total Annual Income :
a) Income Statement for monthly allowance / Fellowship approval.
** Practice – 1 – Rs.4.50 Lakhs.
** Premium – II (A), 3 (A), 3 (B) and Other OBC – Rs.3.50 Lakhs.
b) Income proceeds for the allotment of fees.
** Premium -1 – Rs.2.50 lakhs.
** Propaganda -2 (A), 3 (A), 3 (B) and Other OBC – Rs.1.00 Lakh.
** The student receives monthly scholarship / fellowship from the Government of India / Government of Karnataka / University or any other institution,
** Fees will be exempted if there is a limit.
** Employees of central / state government / subsidiary / publicly owned enterprises are not eligible for this facility.
** Only two male children of one family deserve this project. But this restriction does not apply to girls.
** This facility will be provided only once for a student to study Ph.D.
Applications for applying for students :
** To file the application with appropriate documents through eligible students to avail the facility under this scheme.
II. Documents to be scanned on the JPG Format with an online application : (Each record must be at least 80KB to 150 KB).
** SSLC / 10th Class Score.
** Caste and Income Certificate letter.
** Masters degree scores.
** Post Graduate Certificate (Convocation Certificate).
** Ph.D. Registration Certificate.
** Ph.D. Registration Fee Payment Vouchers.
** If a renewal student is certified in the specified form about the completion of the previous year’s course.
** A certificate of prescribed format from the institution / college / university / official institution concerned with not being selected for any other source.
** The relevant form is downloaded from the web site and confirmed by the affiliate and confirmed by the respective parties.
** Aadhaar card per.
** The latest portrait of the student’s passport size and the scan of the student under the signature upload at the JPG Format (30KB) Should be done.
** Scan the first page of bank pass book (bank name, bank account number, bank branch and IFSC code information) in student name Must be uploaded.
** Students are studying a set of certified copy of each of the application submitted by online and all the uploaded documents Authorities of the Institutions / Colleges / Universities and the District Backward Classes Welfare Officers in the District / Institution / College / Universities Submit to the office and verify the original documents.
** No request / offline applications will be considered after the scheduled date
** Check out and verify the documents submitted by the District Backward Classes Officers with online uploading documents online.
Updating information online :
** Monthly Study Fees / Fellowship and Fee Exemptions for Student Scores, Practical Reservation and Grants Availability Will be given.
III. If students’ information studying Class 10 in CBSE / ICSE is not available online application (apply online
** If not possible) go to the office of the Backward Classes Welfare Officers of your district, SSLC. Register Number, Birth Date, Father and Apply on Mother’s Name, Disability Candidate Information and Name of the School and Address and then apply online.
IV. The address of the Office of Backward Classes Welfare Officers will be available on the Department’s website.
** A certified copy of all documents shall be submitted to the office of District Backward Classes Officers.
