 Alipurduar Pre Matric Scholarship

** Scholarship is given to Minority students for pursuing studies from class I to X ranging from Rs. 1000/- to 10,700/- per year.

** There are 2 (two) categories of application namely Fresh & Renewal.
** Application is to be submitted through online of National Scholarship Portal 2.0 (scholarships.gov.in/) from June / July to November every year.

** Hard Copies of application forms with requisite document is to be submitted at institute level for verification.
** Pre-metric applications can also be received in offline mode.
** For such offline applications data entry have to be done in scholarshipsathi.gov.in portal

Post Matric Scholarship

** Scholarship is given to students for pursuing studies from class XI to Post graduate level.

** Application in June / July ONLINE through Yearly maintenance allowance of Rs.2300/- & Rs.3800/-, Rs.3000/- & Rs.5700/- are given for class XI & XII, Graduation and Master Levels respectively plus actual tution fees.

** Application time June-Sept for fresh application and June to October for renewal application through ONLINE from scholarship.gov.in (National scholarship portal).

Post Matric Stipend (Under Talent Support)

** This stipend is awarded to the students who are resident of West Bengal and have passed their last final examination and obtained below 50% marks and must have secured pass marks in his/her last examination.

** He/she should have continuing his/her studies. Scholarship is given to students for pursuing studies from class XI and onwards up to Ph.D. Annual Family Income up to Rs.2 Lakh. .wbmdfc.org

Term Loan Scheme :
** Loan upto Rs. 5 lakh (above Rs. 5 lakh with the approval of (NMDFC). A Guarantor required.

Application time :
** Round the year at BDO / Panchayat Samity Office (for rural areas) and SDO office (for municipality areas) in prescribed format.
Repayment : 20 Quarterly installments in 5 years

Micro Finance Direct to SHGs

** Small loans upto Rs. 50,000 per member of Self Help Group (SHGs) for income generating economic activities provided directly to SHGs, specially women @6% interest p.a.
** Small loans provided directly to members of SHG, Specially for women.

Alipurduar is the newly created District of West Bengal. It became 20th district of West Bengal on 25thJune ,2014. Alipurduar the 2nd largest Sub-Division was created on 7th July 1876.
The Late Colonel Hedayet Ali Khan was the first Assistant Commissioner of Alipurduar and it was named after him.

Alipurduar District isfamous for Three ” T” (Tea , Tree & Tiger). The Climate of this district is warm and humid . In Summers the temperature runs 250 C to 370 C and in Winters temperature runs 180 C to 60 C.
