NMMS Exam :

2017 NMMS Examination applications are available in Concerned Block Education Office ( BEO ) only From 28-08-2017. Applications are NOT AVAILABLE in DSERT website NO ONLINE APPLICATION. Last date to submit filled in application is 21-09-2017. Date of examination 05/11/2017

Under this scheme, it is proposed to award 100,000 scholarships to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs.1,50,000/- per annum from all sources.

Procedure for Selection of Awardee Students:
Each State / UT will conduct its own test for selection of students for the award of the Means-cum-Merit Scholarship.

The State Level Examination may consist of the following two tests:
(i) Mental Ability Test (MAT)
(ii) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

MAT:
Mental Ability Test may consist of 100 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figures etc.

SAT:
Scholastic Aptitude Test may consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII.

Duration of the Test:
Each test will be of 90 minutes duration. Children with disability will be given extra time, as applicable.

NCERT will provide a uniform set of guidelines to all State/UTs for carrying out the examination and promote evenness of evaluation.

Type of School /Institution:
Government:
A Government school is that which is run by the State Government or Central Government or Public Sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Organization completely financed by the Government.

Local Body:
A Local Body school is that which is run by Panchayati Raj and Local Body institution such as Zilla Parishad, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee and Notified Area Authority Committee and Cantonment Board.

Private Aided:
A Private Aided school is that which is run by an individual or a private organization and receives grant from Government or Local Body.

Private Unaided:
A Private Unaided School is that which is managed by an individual or a private organization and does not receive any grant either from Government or Local Body.

Important Dates :
** The last date to submit filled in application to Block Education Office is 21.09.2017
** Date of Examination is 05/11/2017

  1. I need the result of Karnataka NMMS 2017.

  2. I have not get my last years NMMS scholarship yet.

  4. When will the result of NMMS 2017-18 be declared?

  5. I need to know whether Urdu medium students can appear for NMMS exam. If yes, then tell me whether the question paper is available in Urdu language. Please answer me.
