Indian Air Force Benevolent Association:
1. Ex-Gratia grant for natural calamilities.
2.Grant for wheel chair/ treatment abroad.
3.Scholarships ranging from Rs.2,400/- to Rs.4,800/- for education in School/ College/ Professional Courses and Post Graduate study in India.
4.Lump sum grant to medically boarded out personnel (Rs.10,000/-for Officers & Rs.4,000/- for Airmen) for commercial venture.
5.Children Education Assistance of Rs.80/- p.m. for 3 years to retired Airmen having a maximum of 24 years of service.

Ex-Gratia Grant for Natural Calamities / Disasters:
The ex-gratia grant is provided to Air Force personnel in case of natural calamities/ disasters. The amount is sanctioned by the executive committee. The Annexure to Appendix ‘D’ to AFO 8/95 should be recommended by Command Advisory Committee.

Eligibility Condition :
This grant is given only to serving personnel and their families.

Grant for Wheelchair (Serving/Retired) :
For Grant for Wheel Chair, the Annexure to Appendix ‘D’ to AFO 8/95 should be duly signed by SMO certifying the necessity alongwith two quotations.

Eligibility Condition :
This is a lump sum payment and is given only when the wheelchair is not available through service sources.

Grant for Mechanical Aid for Physically Handicapped/Mentally Challenged Children :
The payment is given only to children of serving personnel and is paid in lump sum.

Reimbursement of Medical Bills (Serving/Retired/Deceased) :
The Annexure to Appendix ‘D’ to AFO 8/95 should be recommended by Station Commander. Certificate from SMO for non-availability of medicine through service sources and original Medical bills.

Eligibility Condition :
The Medical Treatment undergone should not be available in Service Hospital.
