What is “Vidyajyothi” scholarship test?:
“Vidyajyothi” is a nation wide initiative of ISBR Business School to reward the young, meritorious, enterprising, deserving and bright students to pursue their post graduate higher studies in management at ISBR Business School.

What is the total amount that will be given through this scholarship?:
This scholarship aims to reward a total of Rs. 60 lakhs (approx) to the meritorious students in form of fee waiver for admissions to ISBR Business School. Every selected student may get a maximum of Rs. 2.25 lakhs and a minimum of Rs. 30,000/- as fee waiver.

Who are eligible for this scholarship test?:
Students who have completed 10+2+3 / in their final years of UG and looking for a career in management at ISBR Business schools in the year 2010 are eligible for this scholarship.

What are the final criteria for a student to get selected in this scholarship test?:
Vidyajyothi scholarship will be awarded to the prospective student of ISBR Business Schools on the following criteria:

Academic Record : 20%
Performance in the Group Discussion : 30%
Performance in the Interview : 30%
Extra Curricular Track Record : 20%

What is the amount of scholarship that would be given to each student?:
Every selected student may get a maximum of Rs. 2.25 Lakhs or a minimum of Rs. 30,000/- as fee waiver based on the criteria.

How many students will get the scholarship?:
The number of scholarships and the amount permissible will be determined by the performance of the student as per the above criteria. However the maximum students getting admissions through scholarship will not be more than 120 numbers.

Are you using this scholarship as a carrot to attract students for admissions?:
This scholarship test is mainly aimed at promoting higher education among youths and to reward the young, meritorious, enterprising, deserving and bright students to pursue their post graduate higher studies in management at ISBR Business School.

For which courses this scholarship is valid?:
This scholarship is valid only if the students opts for admission to the PGPM + MBA at one of the ISBR Business School campuses.

As you assuring them placements? Is there a placement guarantee?:
This scholarship does not assure or guarantee placements. This aims at proving higher education to the selected students.

Is English language an important criterion for selection?:
As the course and its teaching would be in English, it would be advisable if the candidate is comfortable with English.

In case a student gets selected for scholarship, what is the next procedure?:
Once the candidate has been selected for the scholarship award, he needs to take admission at ISBR Business School with a payment of the registration amount within 20 days from the date of offer of scholarship. This scholarship waiver will be applicable on the final year fees of the candidate.

Is there a refund of the registration amount incase a student is not eligible for admission in future / in case a student is not able to finance his remaining part of fees?:
The candidate will be refunded the amount with the deduction of Rs. 5000/- as service charges if the candidate is found ineligible for admission at ISBR Business School or if the candidate is unable to arrange the finance to finance his remaining part of fees. However this refund will be allowed only before the start of the batch.
