Vidyasaarathi Educational Scholarship
Vidyasaarathi is a technology-enabled initiative by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e-Gov) to bridge the gap in education finance in the country through an online platform.
How to Apply?
There are 3 easy steps to Apply for Scholarship
1. Sign Up : Register in Vidyasaarathi Portal
2. Complete Profile : Complete the profile information with all necessary details
3. Search & Apply : Search for relevant schemes in which you are eligible and apply for scholarship
Sign up
Go to the official website of NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd through the URL https://www.vidyasaarathi.co.in/Vidyasaarathi/index
Click the Sign Up link in the right top corner of the home page and fill the below details to complete your Registration,
Step 1 : Select your Title [Mr/Miss/Mrs]
Step 2 : Enter Your First Name [Ram]
Step 3 : Enter Your Last Name [Kumar]
Step 4 : Enter Your Mobile Number [9876543210]
Step 5 : Enter Your Email Id [ram@gmail.com]
Step 6 : Enter Your Password
Note :
** Password length should be in between 8 to 14.
** Password should contain any combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters (other than ^).
** Password and email Id should not match.
Step 7 : Retype Your Password
Step 8 : Enter the Captcha code
Step 9 : Accept the Terms & Conditions and Click Submit button
** Once student click on ‘Submit’* button, system will send account activation link on registered Email ID.
** Students have to click on the link to validate the E-mail ID within 24 hours of successful registration.
** Then student can use the activated Login ID and password to enter into the Vidyasaarathi portal. (Fields marked with (*) asterisk sign are mandatory fields for registration in Vidyasaarathi portal).
Search & Apply Scheme
Student can search Scholarships Schemes through ‘Search & Apply Scheme’ tab without login into the account OR may Login into the account first, fill up Profile, search for schemes and can then apply to the scholarship scheme.
Forgot Password
Student can click on ‘Forgot password’ option provided on the Login page of Vidyasaarathi portal and will be asked to provide registered e-mail address.
Vidyasaarathi portal will send a system generated PDF having user ID and password. The generated PDF will be password protected having first two characters of First Name & Last Name in lower case.

Important Instructions
a. Please check all the details before submitting the Profile form. If there are any mistakes observed, make necessary corrections. Also upload all required documents in the Vidyasaarathi portal.
b. Currently, session Time out is for 30 minutes.
c. After the Student/User profile is submitted, please search and apply for Scholarship schemes of your choice
d. Please re-check the form and attachments before submission, as the application once submitted will be forwarded to Corporate whose Scholarship schemes are applied for.
e. The Scholarship application status for different corporates can be viewed under the tab ‘Dashboard’.
f. Once scholarship is awarded by corporate, applicant will be to see “Awarded” in the status column and the status will change to “Disbursed” as soon as the scholarship is disbursed to student bank account.
