Pre-Matric Scholarship For DNTs :
This Scholarship Schemes is applicable for those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, (DNTs) whose family income is less than Rs. 2.0 lacs per annum will be eligible for awarding the Pre Matric Scholarship.

The objective of the Scheme is to improve educational empowerment of the DNTs who are not covered under SC/ST/OBC category.
The rates of the Scholarship are:

| 1 | Class I to VIII. | Rs. 1000 per student for 10 month. |
| 2 | Class IX to X. | Rs. 1500 per student for 10 month. |
The printed copy of the Online scholarship form (after successful online submission of form), alongwith all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of Institute, who will retain it in the institution.
The Institution will forward the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to the concerned DDHE & to this Directorate for online verification & safekeeping.
The Govt. Colleges (within state) need to forward only the Verified Candidates List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate.
In case, any offline application form is received by the Head of the Institute, he / she is directed to return the same to the concerned student / institute, at his / her own level; & to direct the sender to fill the form online & submit the printed copy of the Online Application Form, afterwards, through the same channel.
Scheme Specific Document(s) Required:
1. Passport Size Photograph with signatures (Self Attested).
2. AADHAAR Card(UID / EID No).
3. Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
4. Previous Year(s) Result Card(s) from Matric onwards (Attested by the Competent Authority).
5. Latest Bank Statement of the Students Bank Account.
6. Income Certificate (in original) of Parent / Guardian (Issued by an authorized Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar). Please note that Income Certificate must be in the name of the parent / guardian Head of the family, and not in the name of the student.
7.Gap Year Affidavit, for Dr. Ambedkar Pre-Matric Scholarship for DNTs (CSS) & Post-Matric Scholarship for DNTs. (CSS) (in Original).
8.Fee Structure approved by the University / Board / State Govt. / Centre Govt.Self- approved Fee Structure by the Head of the Institution is not valid, in case of Private Recognized Institutions.
9.Fee Payment Receipts.
