This examination is to enable the most deserving students to achieve their goals of becoming top professionals by providing them with free coaching.

In AKTHE, top 20 students will be selected, out of them 5 students each from Class VIII & IX and 10 students from Class X (5 top ranking students from Engineering Stream & 5 top ranking students from Medical Stream) to give them this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The examination will be held at Srinagar Centre.

Exam Details of AKTHE 2017 :
Eligibility: Class VIII, IX & X studying students
Examination Fee: ` 200/- (Including Service Tax)
Exam Date: 20th August, 2017 (Sunday)
Timing: 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
Last Date :Last date of receiving duly filled Registration Form by post or by hand before 5:00 pm at Srinagar Centre: 12th August, 2017 (Saturday). Last date of receiving duly filled Registration Form with late fee by post or by hand before 5:00 pm at Srinagar Centre: 13th August, 2017 (Sunday)
Date of Declaration of Result: 27th August, 2017 (Sunday)

Cash Awards :
In addition to 100% scholarship, the top 10 ranking students in each category as mentioned below will also be eligible for cash award. The rank-wise cash award details are given below:

Important Instructions :
** Fill the enclosed AKTHE Registration Form and submit it along with your self-attested photocopy of class VII, VIII & IX mark-sheet as applicable, 4 passport size colour photographs and cash / demand draft of Rs. 200 in favour of ‘Aakash Institute’.
** In case mark-sheet is not available, students can enroll by submitting a self-attested photocopy of their Identity Card issued by the school.
** Last date of receiving duly filled Registration Form by post or by hand at Aakash Srinagar Centre is 12th August, 2017 (Saturday) before 5:00 pm for students appearing in AKTHE on 20th August, 2017 (Sunday).
** Registration Form can also be accepted after 12th August, 2017 (Saturday) with a late fee of Rs. 50 till 13th August, 2017 (Sunday) by post or by hand at Aakash Srinagar Centre before 5:00 pm.
** No forms will be accepted after 13th August, 2017 (Sunday).
** The exam will be a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based paper, which will be conducted on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet.
** A Sample of OMR sheet is attached with the Sample Paper for your reference.

** The merit list for successful candidates will be prepared by listing them in the descending order of the total marks scored by them. However, there may be ties and such ties will be broken by sequentially applying the following set of rules:

(i) Candidate having higher marks in Science
(ii) Candidate having higher marks in Mathematics
(iii) Candidate having higher marks in Mental Ability Test
(iv) Candidate older in age to be preferred
(v) Girl Candidate

** Meaning of Scholarship: Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver
** If at any point of time, the government decides to charge Service Tax on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver, then the service tax shall be borne by the student / parent / guardian.
** Selected candidates will be provided classroom coaching at Aakash Srinagar centre.
** Hostel Facility is available for AKTHE students on a chargeable basis.
** Maximum scholarship for which a student shall be eligible is 100%.
