Scholarships/Stipends :

a. i) Click here for revised SC scholarship details as per Haryana Govt.
ii) BC students whose father’s income is not more than Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum will also be provided BC post Matric Scholarship by the District Welfare Officer, Haryana as per state Govt. Instructions issued from time to time.

Forms for such Scholarships are filled in the month of August / September of every year.

(b) for Grant of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for B.Tech./MCA/MBA students. 15% of the sanctioned strength of B.Tech./MCA/MBA courses are eligible for grant of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for B.Tech./MCA/MBA students @ Rs.750/- p.m. The criteria of parent’s income will be as per State Govt. Norms all above scholarships.

Performance and attendance standards shall be as per University Rules or decided by Competent Authority from time to time. (The above Scholarships are for candidates belonging to Haryana or Admitted through Central Counseling only)

(c) University Medals:
The following Medals will be awarded to the students of the University:-

Note:-
1. If a girl student gets the Chancellor’s Gold Medal then Chief Minister’s Gold Medal will be given to the next topper amongst the girl students.
2. One student will get only one such prestigious award.
3. For Sr.No.3, due weightage will be given to academics and extra/co-curricular activities and a criteria for this would be pre-decided by a Committee constituted for the same.

In addition to above Medal and Certificate will be awarded to the toppers of PG courses. The details of above selected students will be displayed on the University website in the secured manner.

(d) A few scholarships are also awarded by various Charitable Bodies/Trust/Industrial Houses, viz; RKM Scholarship, Indian Oil Scholarship, DLF Raghvendra Scholarship, National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation.

ADMISSION, FEE AND SCHOLARSHIPS :
The minimum educational qualification for admission into community college under 1 year full time Diploma Course scheme is class 12 pass or equivalent from any recognized board or university.

Equal weightage is given to vocational subjects at +2 level while considering the students for admission into community college for recognition of skills credits.

While deciding criteria for admission into any particular trade, the CCs consider students having background in relevant stream at 10+2 level. For admission to the programmes offered by the CCs, preference is given to the learners living in the local community.

Reservation to SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories is available as per the extant State policy. There is no age bar for admission in the Community Colleges. Admissions is done once in a year in month of June/July. Student fee is decided as per the prevalent practice.

In order to motivate students to join courses under the scheme, an scholarship of Rs. 1,000/- per month is provided to the students at the end of each semester, subject to their satisfactory attendance and on successfully qualifying the end semester examination without any back paper/back log.

In the event of short attendance or failure of student in the end semester examination, she/he will not be entitled for scholarship during that semester. No arrears shall be admissible to the student for such period.
