Economically Weaker Sections-I Scholarships :
Application is invited for a special scholarship Ambedkar Scholarship EWS (Economically Weaker Sections – I) launched by P & M G E-Education Pvt. Ltd. (The promoter of Ambedkar Scholarship Program) aiming at the economically weaker sections of the society.

Scholarships will be available to the economically weaker students from all castes and creeds to prepare for government jobs and higher education. Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (Scholarship EWS) is for students who are studying, passed or appeared for the 10th/12th examinations.
Eligible male students will receive a scholarship of Rs 30000 and female students will receive a scholarship of Rs. 35000 to help them prepare for competitive exams for government jobs or for higher studies. There is no age limit and even candidates with higher qualifications can apply if they are appearing for 10+2 level competitive exam
Screening:
The screening tests will be held for 11 days between 20th to 30th November, both days inclusive. Results of the screening test will be declared on 10th December and selected candidates will be called for an interview.
Fee Structure:
For Scholarship EWS the examination fee is Rs. 549. Candidates can pay the exam fee offline till 25th October 2016 and online till 30th October 2016 after which date no further applications shall be accepted for the current year.
Eligibility:
In order to qualify for the EWS applicants must meet the necessary eligibility criteria:
** The candidates must be from the economically weaker section of the society. The income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 10,000 per month.
** Students who are studying or have appeared for the 10th/12th standard exam or those who have passed the exam.
** Candidates must be citizen of India or subjects/citizens of Bhutan, Nepal. Tibetan candidates residing in India under the refugee status can also apply.
** Students who have higher qualifications are also eligible. Such candidates have to show proof such as examination acknowledgement letter and admit card to support their claim that they are preparing for any 10+2 level examination.
** There is no age restrictions
** Candidates must make sure they meet eligibility norms in order to prevent disqualification.
In the event a candidate has paid a fee and is disqualified he forfeits the examination fees. Issue of admission certificate for the exam does not imply that the candidate has been selected.
How to Apply:
** The Candidates who wish to apply online can visit www.ambedkarscholarship.com and follow the procedures. Candidates can choose REGISTER NOW option on the front page and select status “Scholarship Applicant” and fill the form.
** Submit form online along with scanned copies of photo, signature & I.D proof, in I.D proof candidate can upload any I.D proof issued by government authorities and school/college administration.
** The candidates who wish to apply offline can collect form from our corporate office or authorized franchisee. The duly filled forms should be mailed through speed post/ registered post/ courier to our corporate office.
** Candidate can also submit at our authorized center and to franchisee. The examination fee can be paid to our franchisee in cash or a demand draft/Banker’s cheque drawn in favour of “P & M G E – Education Pvt. Ltd.”
** It is mandatory to mention the franchisee code if a student collects examination form from a franchisee.
** Candidates are strictly advised to verify the authenticity of the franchisee by calling at our toll free number 1800 3000 4462/9555 990 990 before paying any examination fee.
** The candidates must collect a receipt after paying the examination fee. We are not responsible if a candidate pays fee to any unauthorized person.
** The applications should be submitted no later than the specified date along with the requisite examination fees.
** Incomplete forms or forms without documents or examination fee will be rejected.
Interview:
** Selected candidates will have to appear for the personal interview. Performance in the personal interview will decide selection for the scholarship. Marks in the screening test are not considered for the scholarship.
** The interview will be held at our head office. If there are sufficient candidates from a particular city or town, we shall conduct interview in that place through selected representatives.
** Each interview will be video-graphed for recording the proceedings and for a fair appraisal.
Documents:
Application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of examinations passed, school leaving certificate, parents income proof (issued by government authorities). Any document with date of birth and residence proof.
Scholarships:
** Rs. 30000 scholarship grant to male students and Rs. 35000 to female students to obtain coaching for competitive exams or coaching to appear for an entrance exam for higher studies.
** Scholarship amount will be credited directly to individual bank account of the chosen candidate.
** We shall assist candidates in opening a bank account if they do not have one.
** The number of candidates to be selected will be decided in consultation with the management disbursing the scholarships.
** The scholarship will commence from 30th December 2016.
