Scholarship:
Students pursuing higher education and who wish to apply for fresh scholarships for the academic year 2016-17 under the following State Schemes (Fresh) may visit the website www.dhte.puducherry.gov.in & download the application forms. Central Govt. Schemes Scholarship (Fresh / Renewal) may apply online at https://scholarships.gov.in.

Renewal of State and Central Schemes may visit www.dhte.puducherry.gov.in. A candidate may apply for more than one scholarship but shall be considered / selected under one scholarship scheme only.
1. Puducherry State Post Matric Scholarship (PSPMs) :
Rs.120/- for Technical XII or Courses and PG courses equivalent
2. Financial Assistance to Post Graduate Students :
Rs.120/- for Day Scholars & Rs.300/- for Hostelers students. Applicable only PG Students
3. Central Sector Scheme :
Only those students who have been selected under the scheme in UG can renew the scholarship upto PG level. For professional courses, the scholarship will be awarded only for UG.
Last Date:
** Last date for submission of online application for CSSS (Fresh/Renewal) : 31.10.2016.
** Last date for submission of applications for State Schemes (Fresh/Renewal) : 26.10.2016.
Note:
The students shall submit the printout of online application along with supporting documents (Aadhaar card, Bank Passbook, HSC Mark Sheet, PIC form, Bonafide Certificate). Applications received after 26th October, 2016 will not be considered.
One and all should ensure that the filled in application form is submitted to the office duly completed in all respects. Incomplete applications will be rejected outright. Application submitted after the last date will not be accepted by the institution as Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Puducherry cannot assure sanction of scholarship to such belated applications.
SC Scholarship Renewal Notice:
UG and PG students (excluding I and II year (Lateral Entry)) are directed to submit application for renewal of SC scholarship on or before 31.8.2017.
