Top Class Education Scholarship Scheme :
Applications are invited for Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students. The fresh B.Tech. 2016-17 Batch students and renewal cases of those students whose applications for 2015-16 were processed online through National Scholarship Portal need to submit the online application in the portal by October 25, 2016

So that they can be verified and forwarded to the Ministry in time. After submitting the online application, please take its printout, sign it and submit the s ame along with t h e c o p i e s o f the required documents as enclosed in the online application to the Academic Section. The URL of the National Scholarship Portal is https://scholarships.gov.in/ .
Rest of the students require renewal of CSSS should submit their applications in two sets as per the enclosed prescribed Application Form along with required documents to Academic Section by October 23, 2016, so that they can be despatched to the Ministry in time.
The detailed notification of Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top class Education for SC students for the year 2016-17 by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is enclosed herewith for your convenience.
Documents (self-attested) to be enclosed with the application form:
1. Parental Income Certificate in Original for 2015-16 (issued by the Competent Authority not below the rank of Tehsildar).
2. +2 Mark sheet and pass Certificate (Photocopy) for fresher and last two semester Grade cards (Photocopies) for Renewal students.
3. Caste Certificate (Photocopy).
4. Aadhar based Bank Account details (Photocopy of Passbook).
5. Aadhaar Card (Photocopy copy).
6. Undertaking by students to the effect that he/she is not in receipt of any Scholarship from any
DECLARATION-cum-UNDERTAKING BY THE STUDENT AVAILING SCHOLARSHIP :
i) That, I have applied for CCS Scholarship for “Top Class Education for SC students” to be awarded by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment , Govt. of India, for the year 2017-
ii) That, I hereby declare that, I am not in receipt of any other Scholarship/Stipend/ Fin. Assistance, etc. from any other source.
iii) That, in case I am awarded and/or avail any other Scholarship/Stipend/ Fin. Assistance, etc., in future, I, hereby, undertake to surrender the above stated Scholarship/Stipend/Fin. Assistance, etc., and abide by the rules and regulations concerning the same.
iv) I, further declare that, the information given above are true to the best of my knowledge and belief, based on records, and I understand that the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship/Free Studentship/ if awarded to me, is liable to be withheld or discontinued at the discretion of the authorities of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, without assigning any reason.
If subsequently (after award of MCM Scholarship to me) it is found that, I have been granted any other Scholarship/Stipend /Fin.
Assistance etc. by any Govt./Non-Govt. Organisation for the same period, I shall be bound to refund the entire amount of Scholarship / Free studentship / Stipend / Financial Assistance, etc. to the scholarship awarding authority immediately; I shall also be personally held liable for refund of the Scholarship / Free studentship amount (paid to me by the Institute) in the event of any information in this declaration and also in the enclosed scholarship application form, being proved incorrect later on.
