Scholarship Scheme For Abroad Studies:
To provide financial assistance to scheduled tribe students for their post graduation level courses / Research – Degrees in foreign countries in specific fields and participating in Post Doctoral programs. 10 Scholarships are granted to scheduled tribe students every year

Eligible Beneficiaries:-
(A) For Post Research – Degree Studies:
First division or 60% marks or equivalent grade in respective Post Graduation Exam. (For scheduled tribe candidates, Second Division with 50 % marks and experience in respective field with Research Degree (PhD.)
(B) For Research Degree (P.H.D):
First division or 60% marks or equivalent grade in respective Post Graduation Exam. (For scheduled tribe candidates, second Division with 50 % marks and two years Teaching / Research / professional experience in respective field / M. Phil. Degree.)
(C) For Post Graduation Degree:
First division or 60% marks or equivalent grade in respective Graduation Exam. (For scheduled tribe candidates, second Division with 55 % marks)
Benificiaries Selection Process:
Age Limit:-
Less than 35 years on 1st January of the year in which the application has been submitted, relaxation in age limit can be given for 10 years on recommendations of committee in special cases.
Income Limit:-
Total income of employed candidate or his / her parents / guardian from all sources should not exceed Rs. 5.00 Lac per annum. Only one candidate from a family shall be eligible for the scholarship for only one time.
Financial Assistance:-
Rates of financial aid may be revised from time to time according to the parameters set by the government of India.
