Scholarships :
VASTTC, Kilimanoor gives number of scholarships under various categories to support meritorious and needy students to complete their studies. Students are advised to apply for the scholarships under eligible category before 30th June, 2015 for considering their names for these scholarships.

Application Dead Line :
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT BEFORE 30 JUNE 2015 with all supporting documents.

Vidya Merit- cum- means Full Fee Scholarships for socially and economically backward students :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships – 12
** Eligibility Criteria- Family income not more than Rs 90,000 per annum. Admission in VASTTC through Management or Merit Quota of Kerala Government Entrance Exam.0

Vidya Excellence Full Fee Scholarships for Entrance toppers :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships – All
** Eligibility Criteria- 1-10000 Rank holders in Kerala Government Entrance exam.

VIDYA -AICTE Full Fee Waiver Scholarships :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships – 12
** Eligibility Criteria- Admission under Govt. Quota-Family income not exceeding Rs 6 lakhs.

Vidya Merit Half Fee Scholarships :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships – All
** Eligibility Criteria- 10001-15000 Rank holders in Kerala Government Entrance exam.

Vidya Merit -cum- Means Full Fee Arts & Sports Scholarships :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -1
** Eligibility Criteria- National level achievers in Arts/Sports events

Vidya Merit -cum- Means Half Fee Arts & Sports Scholarships :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -1
** Eligibility Criteria- State level achievers in Arts/Sports events

Vidya Full fee scholarship for wards of staff :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -1
** Eligibility Criteria-For staff ward who draws a pay up to Rs.15000/- per month.

Vidya Half fee scholarship for wards of staff :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -1
** Eligibility Criteria-For staff ward who draws a pay up to Rs.25000/- per month.

Vidya Subsidized fee scholarship :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -10 students in each Branch
** Eligibility Criteria- For students who score 8o% or more marks each in English & Mathematics are entitled for subsidized fee (Tuition & special fee) which shall be Rs.10,000/- p.a
(Not applicable for NRI students)

Vidya Excellence Full Fee Scholarship for Students from Local Panchayath :
** Course – B-Tech
** No. of Scholarships -10 students in each Branch
** Eligibility Criteria- Family income not more than Rs 1,00,000 per annum. Admission under Govt Quota . Recommendation from Local Panchayath(Secretary/ President)

Notes :
** Income furnished shall be the real current family income. If the income stated in the application or certified in the revenue authorities certificate is proved to be incorrect, the scholarship application is liable to be rejected.
** Students selected for scholarship other than ‘Vidya Fee Waiver’, ‘Vidya COmpetence 90%’ and ‘Vidya Excellence’ shall avail education loans from banks. The Trust shall reimburse to the bank, the loan amount with interest accured, if any, provided the student passes all papers in the University examinations or score an aggregate mark not less than 60%. If the student fails to me this condition, the Trust will cease reimbursement of the loan, thereby the student shallredeem the loan as per the terms and conditions of the bank.
** Eligibility – Minimum 65% marks in Plus Two (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ) or other qualifying Examinations.

Documents to be produced :
The candidates are required to enclose only copies (self attested) of the following certificates along with this application.
1. SSLC Matriculation Mark lists & Certificate
2. 12th Mark Lists & Certificate / Diploma Mark Lists & Certificate / Degree Mark List & Certificate.
3. Admit Card & Entrance Rank Data Sheet.
4. Certificates obtained for extra curricular activities (Arts/Sports/Cultural) if any State Level/ National Level.
5. Income/ Community Certificate.
6. Disability Certificate in Case of Physically Handicapped Candidates.
7. Conduct Certificate from School or College Principal.
8. Recommendation from Local MP/MLA or any Vidya Trust Member, certifying the eligibility of the applicant (In the application form).
