Post-Matric Scholarship :

The Head of the University/Colleges/Institutes are requested to make wide publicity to enable SC students to apply online before 25 September,2016 to avail Post Matric Scholarship (SC) for session 2016-17.

All Heads of the Universities/Colleges/Institutions shall ensure that all eligible SC students for Post-Matric Scholarship should have correct, authenticate and valid Aadhaar Number with its proper seeding in the bank of account of beneficiary student uploaded on the portal.

For the purpose wide campaign among students should be made to enable them getting aadhaar seeding bank account by 12/09/2016.

The designated Nodal Officer (for National Scholarship Portal -NSP 2.0) of the concerned University/College/Institute will scrutinize the eligibility and other details of the student and verify/validate and authenticate the data of all the registered students on NSP 2.0 for Post-Matric Scholarship (SC) by 30 September, 2016.

Further, the case where the claimed amount is less than Rs. 50,000/- uploading of documents on the portal is not required. However, where the claimed amount is more than Rs. 50,000/- – the documents are required to be uploaded.

In all cases the Nodal Officer will ensure and accordingly responsible for the retention of documents (in Hardcopy) in the Institution itself.

The directorate of higher education and State Nodal Department i.e. Department for welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, GNCTD may inspect/audit the forms/Documents of registered students on NSP 2.0 for PMS (SC) at any time.
