FOR AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP TO MERITORIOUS STUDENTS UNDER CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME

The Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India have allotted 2736 nos. of national scholarship for distribution among eligible Higher secondary pass out of the CHSE Odisha.
i. The students availing any other scholarship are not eligible to avail this scholarship.
ii. The scholarship shall be paid for ten months during an academic year.
iii. The rate of Scholarship shall be 1000/- per month at Graduation level for first three years an Rs.2000/- per month at 4th & 5th years of PG level as well as of professional course.
iv) The annual renewal of this scholarship will depend on the scholar’s securing minimum 6O% of marks or equivalent GPA & attendance of at least 75% in the previous year.
v) Complaints against the scholar regarding indiscipline or having indulged in ragging would lead to forfeiture of the scholarship, if awarded.
vi) In order to consider for availing this scholarship the applicant has to satisfy the following criteria:
A. She/he must passed the Annual Higher Secondary Examination 2016 conducted by the CHSE, Odisha as a regular candidate only. Ex-Regular/private/ Distance Education/ Vocational stream/ other Board pass outs are not eligible to apply.
B. She/he should have prosecute higher studies in any College/Institution/University during 2016-17.
C. It is necessary that all Students, who are eligible for scholarship, need to apply with Aadhar number which is seeded with Bank account.
D. The income limit of the parents from all sources shall not exceed Rs.5,99,999/- (Rupees five lakh ninety nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine)
The last date for submission of online application by the students is 30th September 2016. No application shall be entertained beyond last date.
