Scholarship Scheme for Disabilities :
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities is implementing three scholarship schemes for students with disabilities, namely , (a) Pre- Matric Scholarship (b) Post – Matric Scholarship and (c) Scholarship for Top Class Education through National Scholarship Portal.

2. The applications for the above scholarships are received on-line only. (scholarships.gov.in). Tlie registration of candidates for scholarships is open on NSP 2.0 and the last date of submission of on-line applications is 30th September, 2016.
3. The payment of the scholarship amount will be made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode to the applicant’s bank account. The essential conditions for availing benefits of the three scholarship schemes are submission of Aadhaar No. and the Aadhaar seeded bank account number.
4. The applications for the above mentioned scholarship schemes for both new and old applicants (for continuation of scholarship from the last year to the current year) should be submitted in the National scholarship Portal well before 3oth September, 2016
All approved institutions running recognised courses of RCI are hereby advised to apply for award of scholarships for their students as detailed above.
