Education Department, Chandigarh Administration has decided to award Post Matric Scholarships to SCs and OBCs who are permanent resident of UT, Chandigarh for studies in India under the Govt. of India Scheme.
The scholarship will be open to Indian nationals belonging to SCs and OBCs as notified by the Central Govt./State Govt./ UT Administration. The Major Conditions of eligibility are available at chdeducation.gov.in
The application forms can be obtained from the website of this department i.e. chdeducation.gov.in The forms complete in all respect should reach in the office of Director Higher Education, Additional Deluxe Building, U.T Sector-9 D, Chandigarh, by the students through their respective institutes alongwith all supporting documents (i.e. copy of residence proof, copy of Aadhaar card, last class pass certificate, copy of bank account linked with Aadhaar no, income proof issued by Tehsildar, SC /OBC Certificate) etc. by 15.09.2016 positively.

I am from Faridabad. I belong to a SC caste. I am a law student from institute of law and research Jasana Villge Haryana Faridabad. I am chasing my scholarship from 2016 to till date. But we haven’t received my scholarship. I am unable to pay my fees again for next semester. The authority personnel always shown their negative response against the scholarship. Kindly help us.
