Stipend to SC-ST students :
Stipend / Scholarship to all eligible students belonging to SC/ST from standard I to XII.

It is to inform that the above scheme is revised vide order No.DE/ALCM/SC-ST/2011- 12/1306 Dated: 05/12/2011 for those Students whose parent’s / guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs.1,00,000 per annum.
The said scheme will be continued in the U. T. Administration of Daman & Diu for the students of the standards Ito XII for the year 2016-17. The revised rates for this scheme are as under:
I to V Primary Rs. 500/- per year Rs. 1,00,000/-
VI to VIII (Upper Primary) Rs. 500/-per year RS. 1,00.000/-
IX to X (Secondary) Rs.800/-pcr year Rs.1,00,300/-
XI to XII (Higher Secondary) Rs. 1,000/- per year Rs.1,00,0000/-
The students may kindly be advised to complete the application in all respects and same may be submit to the Head of Institution.
The Head Master/Principals are requested to check the particulars thoroughly at their end and then forward to this office, separately for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students as per eligibility criteria of this scheme guideline and submit only Class wise consolidated list of eligible students (boys & girls students separately) as per the Performa (with soft copy in Excel) on or before 06/10/2016 without fail.
This will enable the Ministry to release admissible Central Assistance through Social Welfare Department at the earliest.
Applications with all relevant documents should be kept in your office for record.
