Notice For Selection of Students/ Players For The Academic Year 2017-2018 (Batch-II)

The Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (A CCL- Jharkhand Govt. Joint Initiative) has embarked on an ambitious journey to prepare grass root level players and prepare them for “Mission Olympic Medal” and have established 15 Sports Academies at the Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon, Ranchi.

The Sports Cadets (Students) are provided the following facilities at the Sports Academies:
** World Class Sports Training through professional Coaches in various Sporting disciplines
** School Education in a reputed English Medium School in close proximity to the Academy
** A Stipend of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per month
** Boarding & Lodging facility with World class infrastructure and furnished Hostel
** Nutritious and wholesome meals as per dietary plans specifically designed for the Cadets
** A disciplined curriculum for achieving Sports Excellence
** Complete Medical Facility and care of Specialists in Sports Medicine
** Sports Kits/ School Uniform and other Sports items/ Playing kits etc as per scale
** Group Insurance of Rs. One Lakh per Sports Cadet

Who are we looking for?
** Young boys and girls from jharkhand state
** In the age group of 8½ to 10 years (born between 31.03.2007 and 30.09.2008) as on 31.03.2017
** Medically fit children free from any disability/ deformity
** Studying in class iii or class iv (from any board/ school)

The selection process:
** Simple motor ability (battery test) in phase-I which includes ball throw, running, height, Weight etc.
** Based on result of the motor ability tests, the top 50 children from each district will be Called for the phase-ii tests at the mega sports complex, khelgaon, ranchi.
** On completion of phase-ii tests, the result of top 100 children and reserve list will be Declared.
** In all 70 boys and 30 girls will be selected for the 2nd batch of the sports academy.

Note:
The decision of local management committee (lmc) shall be final.

What all documents are required for this selection trial?:
** Duly filled form with only relevant details
** Aadhar card with address of jharkhand
** Birth certificate (issued by municipal corp/ state block office)
** Report card of class iii / class iv (photocopy to be enclosed)
** One photograph to be pasted on the form
